I find these LEL games every once in a while intriguing, for a multitude of reasons: the odd stuff you sometimes see in decks (both players had a Healer shipment and the Japanese player had a Fishing Boats shipment), in gameplay (the comfort of the pricey and slow but infinite resource buildings over the much faster but riskier natural resources).
But there's also stuff I see myself do, like completely forgetting about training villagers when I have around 45-50 gatherers. And that's a feature in these casted games you don't really see in the high levels

13:52 I think most people automatically assume their opponent is a micro god so avoid all engagements, even though relatively speaking they are gonna have the same level of micro
Dojo is slow but pays for itself very quickly

3:00 shooting all the hunt near the TC is kind of a thing in AoE4 and sometimes aoe1 even. In aoe1 the gather rate is quite high for hunt so 2 to 3 hunters per animal is fine, in aoe4 there is no decay, maybe thats a "thing" he got from playing any of these games. 8:00 house walling is quite common in aoe1 and aoe2, also early mills/farms are common in all but age3 wich kinda makes me think even more that he comes from another age game.
Khensi Himura (or Kenshin Himura) comes from Ruroni Kenshin or Samurai-X (japanese player's deck name).
Dojo is I believe used in Treaty games, 'cause free units is good for outresourcing the oponent (could be terribly wrong tho), but the building does look super nice.

Im usualy between 900-1100 elo player, the other day i played 1v1 againt a 1600 player on casual and i won, then i went to ranked, did the same strategy and lost...
