Gotta say, I love this. How do you feel about doing more SFO playthroughs? I know you've had some problems with some of the design decisions in SFO in the past. Though I feel like, you've been less critical this time around. Apart from the whole Public Order-issue, though I think just putting on the +10 Public Order option was a good solution for that.

Dark elfs going to brettonia is kinda fun. It would be nice if you could make the elf rebel alliance (wood elves+dark elves)
In theory I think the Black Ark mechanic is meant to have you sailing around doing just that, raiding, invading other places... but in practice you usually have to clean up Naggarond, then deal with the High Elves and by then you've won.
