You guys are sleeping on the Astro gear. It’s velvet they couldn’t do that texture before.
Valid! I covered this a little bit in my recap video when I was able to look again - I think it looks good but I can see where a lot of people were underwhelmed when compared against more intricate designs. But I’m excited to see how it looks “in person.”
Something to note about Solution Nine: that's the name of one of Zidane's Trance abilities in FF9
Also one of the signs they focus on in the location trailer directs you to a Soul Supply facility written in proto-Eorzean script, the written alphabet before modern Eorzean
Given the area is filled with lightning energy as well, I think this place is a surviving part of the shard that merged during the second Calamity of Lightning completely intact, the same way the Terrans in FF9 tried but failed to merge with Gaia for their own survival. The Genomes, the remnant race of Terra, are artificial beings awaiting Terran souls to be implanted in them, so something like that is probably why they need a Soul Supply facility here. And the signs are probably in proto-Eorzean because the people from Solution Nine are the ones to introduce this written alphabet to the Source after merging

They did say there will be a new Exploration zone, but the Cosmic Exploration is absolutely not a new exploration zone by the words on your own bingo card. >.>
So for exploration zone we meant like in the style of Bozja or Eureka where the Cosmic Exploration feels more so like Ishgardian Restoration.
@@Pyra_Sydannia They called it the new Lifestyle Content. That's what Island Sanctuary was classified under. But given they mentioned it being designed for multiple people, maybe Ishgardian Restoration style or the old Diadem style design is also incorporated, is my guess?
