Great review, I went through the same thing you did, i didn’t like the original, and bought mesa tactical i didn’t like it either, now you convinced me this is probably the best choice, thank you for touching on ergonomic and feeling of the stock.
Magpul has a buttpad adaptor that allows the shooter to use stock shaped pads. So you could fit a Limbsaver Airtech made for your shotgun via this adaptor.
Agreed. The factory stock on my 870 Tactical had an unfavorable angle and the there was little in the way of recoil mitigation. Magpul is a nice middle ground between a traditional stock and a pistol grip and the recoil buffer makes it comfortable to shoot, even slugs.
@@retix11 Unless you're shooting magnum loads, the Magpul stock is adequate IMO. I bought a case (250 shells) of slugs with a description that was somewhat lacking and they turned out to be !600 FPS slugs. They definitely get your attention when shooting them. They're borderline not even fun to shoot they kick so hard. I should take up hunting wild pigs or something to put them to good use besides annoying the hell out of everyone at the local indoor range. LOL!! But shooting the more standard "low velocity" 1200 fps slugs is quite enjoyable with the Magpul by itself. As for that limbsaver adaptor, yeah, you might want that for magnum loads.
That’s great if just want a factory-style stock and for it to be as short as possible but it doesn’t have any of the sling mounts or the straight grip, and I believe not as big of a butt pad, and I got mine for only $20 more. You can cut your stock and add a buttstock pad over the hole for like $20, and can make it as long as you want from the stock length to the bolt hole
Dear Delta-77, you did not provide essential instructions on adjusting the Magpul Shotgun Stock. That is, how to use the Magpul spacers to adjust the Length Of Pull (LOP) on the gun. Preparation and rehearsal are the keys to a successful video. Your video was about the Magpul shotgun stock, not about you shooting the weapon!

Cool vid, btw.
I have seen the adapter. I'm happy with the Magpul buttpad though. It works for me!
Thank you my friend. I appreciate the support!
I like the fde stock and the black forend better. Great video bud!

@@retix11 Yup. That would've been a more accurate term.

Great video! Also, who manufactures the holster you’re wearing? Looks good! Thanks
Sick pants dude
Good job
What is the cover with a slot in it on the side of the stock used for?
Quick-detach sling mounts if you haven’t already found out yourself
10:10 hahaha
Just get the houge 12 lop. It's 50$.

The instructions tell you when you buy it.
A FDE stock and a black forend? Dude, don't try buying a purse and shoes for your wife.
What the fuck are you talking about son? Looks bad ass
Just stop aiming. It’s a shotgun. Point it.👍👍😁
Not how a shotgun works
It’s not one of those “any other weapon” shockwaves/tac-14s
Real life isn't a video game, retard.
