Excited to have found your channel. I have a Reformer that I want to spend more time on. Trying to find a online class that I can actually do is another story!! Sooo refreshing - thank you!

I am so glad you are here! The reformer is such an amazing tool. There are so many great workouts here online, but that is the thing, we aren't all ready for those workouts. It is so wonderful to hear that you are liking these workouts. Thank you for commenting. :)

How important are the pulley risers on a reformer for beginners? Loving your instructional videos!

This is a great question. Pulley risers are more of a bonus than anything. They are not needed. What AeroPilates considers to be "beginner" models, do not have the pulley risers. The main thing to think about when going with a unit without pulley risers is leg/back flexibility. If you are really not flexible there, you may want to wait for a good sale on a machine with pulley risers. I was really stiff when I began and if I used a unit without pulley risers, I would have had trouble getting my feet into the straps. For your arms, you can just use a lighter cord until you build strength, so the pulley risers are not needed there. But, if you get a machine that doesn't have pulley you will get more flexible quickly, so it will be a moot point after a few AeroPilates sessions.
I hope you are able to get an AeroPilates machine. Whether it has pulley risers or not, they are amazing! Please let me know if you have any other questions. :)
