All my life I felt I was the most boring person in a gathering cuz I never talked much or went unnoticed. This Hadith literally has healed me knowing how it’s actually lovely to be like this. Alhamdolillah
Seek Allah's attention, not people's attention. Seek Allah's pleasure, not people's pleasure. Seek Allah's approval, not people's approval. Seek to be noticed by Allah, not people. May Allah make it easy for us all and grant us Jannah and protect us from the hellfire.
The same is true for me too. I have struggled my whole life because of my naf's inclination to be on the attention of people around me. This is very eye opening for me. I will try to follow the rules of being unnoticed from now on. Allahu musta'wan.
walaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu☺ Allahu Akbar❤:)Allahumma salle ala Muhammad❤:) ...ameen summa ameen to all the beautiful prayers of yours.ThankYou & JazakAllahu khairan.
You know I used to be that person. And everyone didn't like my personality. They would say why would you not talk. I only talk when someone asks or talk to me but I don't start talking. They would also say I thought you were deaf, I would reply and say no I'm alhamdulilah can hear. Some of them thought bad things about me like that I was judging them to the point where they don't sit with me in class because I don't talk that much. Can't believe I thought my whole life I was a bad person who needed to change. Now I guess I'm changed I talk but not like in the past. I asked my mom before changing if it is a bad thing or not? She said that you don't need to change for someone or a group of people. You can change if you feel as if this is the best for you.
aww I love quite people , it comes to show that most people who dont like shy and quite people are very self absorbed and attention seekers. Quite people are great and extremely independent and they usually have the best personality when you come to know them!
I would say it's better to be quite then talk without making any sense. I'm the same... I just talk if someone asks me something. Its up to you, don't change yourself ,you are better the way Allah has made you. You will find people like yourself and enjoy their company. Many people are there who constantly talk, very rare people are quite n sensible, deep n understanding.... Never change yourself for any one else... Asalam o Alaekum wr wb.
Thanks so much for this episode! But does it concern hijab wearing issue as when you wear hijab in a country where only some people wear hijab it is difficult to be unnoticed
I know what you mean and I also asked this question...someone more knowledgeable told me, we live in a world where anything done for God is uncommon such as prayer and fasting, eating halal and avoiding alcohol, gambling, dating etc. Where do we draw the line and do we have to make ourselves unnoticed? for what reason do we do that? It is fine to wish to be unnoticed but if it takes us away from what Allah expects from us, then we can be sure that is not what He wants from us.
He said not in regards to religious matters that are unavoidably public. I think it means more in terms of worldly affairs, eg. Being the life of a party, being well known for reasons other than piety.
