That and TV's with built in DVD players (a bad idea if either one happened to break). Obviously they had to use something appropriate top the day it was made (2001?). They couldn't steal unobtanium or something. Tho for story purposes it would have made more sense to steal money as that does not age as fast as technology.

I remember when this movie first came out. The car that was shot up and blew up was put into a contest to win . This movie is actually more believable than all there over the top new ones. 🙄

This is actually a really solid flick! Like yea, plot is pretty "beginner" lol but its paced well, shot/directed well, the cast is good, it's a legitimate legendary "car" flick. 2F2F is also solid and fun with more comedy thrown in, and Tokyo Drift might be the best of of them all even without the "original" cast... Well that wraps up the franchise...Nope no more after Tokto drift...No sir-eee...

About 6 months ago, it was all over social media that none of the female reactors have watched the Fast and the Furious movies which is kind of dumb. I hope she keeps doing this. The way she watches a good portion then pauses to give her reaction on what she saw is a great way for us to feel like she is not going to miss anything.
It was gratifying to see that she didn't miss anything about the movie. Pauses at the right moments and few dialogues in the middle of the film.
The speech Dom gives Brian about his fathers death gets me every time because its damn near exactly how Paul Walker died with his friends son running to the car on fire tryin to pull out his dad .
