She really knows her references and pop culture. She is a child of the internet. Whether she talks about Bo Burnham or Christina Grimmie, which I love. You can feel she is a genuine fan of the things she talks about. Having your parents as managers helps to develop your own artistry instead of adapting a persona pre-made by the industry. She did not always do the right thing but she REALLY had to fight for being seen as a true musician.
