Question: What's the advantage to doing chemical rust removal rather than going immediately to mechanical (i.e. wire brush, abrasive)? And because internet, I'm really asking.😉
I love watching old knives being restored, imagine the stories they could tell if they could speak. That's why I have knives with a lot of sentimental value. WELL DONE ON THE FANTASTIC WORK
Fantastic restoration on this old rusty pocket knife. 😊 You really brought it back to life. The handle is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your video with us. I enjoyed watching you work your magic on this knife. Im looking forward to seeing your next video. Stay Safe and Healthy 😊
The outcome is stellar! I'm left wondering if there is some technique by which the pitting on the blade could have been addressed. I was thinking of some sort of electrolysis that might have been able to plate the blade before polishing and sharpening. Thoughts?
I hope you enjoyed my video! Subscribe to the channel and watch more!
😢😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
the traces of use on the blade give the knife soul...
another great work of yours!
thank you!
Hello mister beautiful knife beautifully restored good job well done
Great restoration. I had a knife just like that one. I used it to cut bailing twine. I lost it while plowing one day in 1973.
Beautiful job, it looks great! I really like the scales on this knife, they have a good look!
It looks great and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!!!
I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
I was glad to see you restore the old grips rather than make new ones.
very cool. why torch the rivet stems?
First 🎉
Question please : Do you find things and restore them for selling or do you get paid to restore items?
🙋, 👍👏
Would be great to see you make something simple ie that
wood end table
Great work, I wonder if you could restore me to my former self.
Лайк каналу 👍👍👍👍👍
Ці ножі дуже сильно ржавіють. Напевно, використовували не якісну сталь. Робота дуже достойна!
Вітаю! Дякую за цікаве відео, Слава ЗСУ !!!
Shure. It's cost only 20 to buy a new one.
But to spend a week to restore a old one.
That the love.
Thank you.💪
It's a hobby) I love it
Resurrecting an old discarded pocket knife must be very satisfying.
Well done❤

Time
The chemical method cleans the metal from rust better
@@ReXtorer : You have all the reason. 😉👍😁
The wet method performs much better.👍
Best regards from DK ! 🙋♂️

The beautiful bolsters and scales don't match the blade which is shot.
А может лучше было бы новое лезвие сделать?
Your works are all beautiful and carefully done🫶
Great job, perhaps this knife needs a new blade....but, incredible job!!!!
Then it would not be a restoration.
What do you do about the rusting after the restoration, doesn't it just start to rust again due to the raw metal now being exposed?

Классная работа.из чего накладки на рукоять?
What's "Rust Converter?"
Nice 👌🏻
Not impressed , should have made a new blade
Perhaps, but the old blade has its own peculiarity)
@brutalbrital, the only thing unimpressive is your lack of grammar and punctuation.
I like the old pitted look. It's authentic and adds character. It's a restoration channel not a forging channel.
Our family has an heirloom ax. It has been restored several times, and the handle replaced four times. The blade was only replaced twice! 🙄
Nice job. The wood looks great!
Knife's lookin' hella dope, @ReXtorer!
