This must be when he was still playing his music?🎵 Wow!Listen to that sopranos voice!😊It’s lovely 🥰 to hear!👂 I still have some of his music 🎵 in my music 🎵 box in the back room.And,yes….Tomitas music 🎵 will live on!😊
Thank you so much for putting this out there, for decades I was wondering who the soprano was that sang Going Home, your tribute was perfect, thank you for putting the words out . I had so many of his CDs but played this song, on his Live album the most just for this stirring song. I can't think of a better way to honor him.
@@gordonrix3853 I give credit where credit is due, I am sure you brightened many hearts by posting the song. I actually keep it bookmarked AND on an open tab, as I had decades of wanting to hear it over and over. We used to listen to the cd at night, but some of the chords were a bit jarring and would wake us up from the slight dozing the mellowness of the song gave us.
Thank you. When I first heard this, I wrongfully assumed that the lyrics were added especially for this version and that Fisher was a present day composer. When in fact the lyrics were penned by Fisher (a pupil of the composer Dvorak) to accompany the largo section of the New world symphony.
