What sort of punishment is that, to replace the engine Takumi destroyed with a better engine?
@@KaleunMaender77he’s not punishing him, he’s seeing his dream that his son becomes a full fledged racer capable of surpassing him become a reality. Any dad would be proud enough to want to see their son go all the way, and the new engine and car upgrades was bunta’s way of telling him to go for it. This group of episodes made me emotional and reminded me of me and my dad when I was younger.
@@chrisdrums1910 I mentioned "punishment" as a hypothetical.
@@KaleunMaender77 I meant to reply to the original comment tbh
To be fair, Takumi was reckless when he scratched the AE86 so of course Bunta is understandably angry.
But for the engine blowing up, it is way more understandable because losing a car like that hurts a lot and it wasn't necessarily Takumi's fault because the engine couldn't last too long to begin with
Except his dad, his 86 was the only one that matters for Takumi.
Bro it make cry😢

When i was backstapped by my gf, i was in tears, but unfortunately i hadn't a car(this was the only thing i want to do, get in the car and go to the track). I remembered Takumi in this moment.

First time Takumi lose in race.Goodbye forever AE86

何勝手に話進めてんねん
@khoikhoi9868 nah that silver-top 5AGE is still NA
Welp. Thats could be a part of growing up.
I miss my dad so much
Had the same feeling. As soon as I discovered I was cheated on by my girlfriend, I immediately watched this, and played some Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift.
It felt like for Takumi, he’s really feeling the weight of all of this on his shoulders, and much like Bunta said during First Stage, he let his emotions get the best of him.
My 308 from 2007 is getting old, i was looking for a newer car, but i don't want to see the car far from me. Some people says "it's only a car". They don't know what means for me.
Ok can we talk abt how takumi got that shit on tho
I mean like DAMN
27:40 was me when my bugeye spun a bearing after fixing on it for a month 😭
Bug eye subaru imprezza?
He ends up with someone else in the end anyways so its all good
拓海應該要先把車速減低在換檔,然後在慢慢的加速這樣86才不會爆缸
