I like Studio Ghibli movies so much... they give me such a good feeling of nostalgia, It's one of the most beautiful, a little sad, best feelings I've ever felt in my life. That feeling of innocence, as if I had gone back to being that creative kid who only woke up in the morning and watched a lot of cartoons without worries again. All the movies made me want to go back in time and never let the clock run again... It's kind of a sad feeling too😞

Howls moving castle is one of my favorite movies of all time because when I was younger my parents used to fight all the time and I had the DVD of this movie so I would play it and turn it up to like 90 and fall asleep to all of the sounds in it. Or i would play the songs on the piano to go to another world.....in othe words this movie is my comfort movie and if u havnt watched it then watch it because it's beautiful.
I also forgot to mention that before my dad had to leave we made a music box with this song in it because my dad my the only person that payed attention to me so he figured out this was my favorite movie.

Fell asleep and had a dream where I was in a parallel universe but everything was okay, supporting parents, true friends, good grades, and just happiness. No sadness. It was amazing, it was the time of my life but then I woke up and had to face reality again.

Where I live we didn't really have any anime movies on tv regularly but once when I was like 6 I found a channel which had studio ghibli movies and I totally adored them but unfortunately we had to sell our tv before I could watch this one so I ended up never watching hawls moving castle until when I found this video, I felt so nostalgic and it reminded me of all the other studio ghibli movies too so I finally searched this and watched it and I gotta say it's my new fav movie, it was such a comforting watch :( It really felt super nostalgic even tho it was my first time watching it. I highly recommend others who haven't watched it to give it a try or rewatch it if you have whenever you feel down.

The rumours that flew around the city were just as unhinged as the mystical man himself, and no matter where you could go you could never escape the fleeting conversation of Howl himself stalking among the townspeople. You didn’t mind him, well at least the Howl from the rumours. You weren’t the type of person to involve yourself with wizards like him, in fact, your entire family was against them. Then, how did fate collide you with a young star such as himself? It was a bright, sunny afternoon. The endless clouds you’d expect in the sky were nowhere in sight, and many commoners were enjoying their time soaking in the pleasantry of the afternoon. You walked along the cobbled path with a woven basket in hand, and you were heading for the marketplace. Picking and choosing the right fruit was a nightmare in your eyes, your family was extremely picky on what they have on their plates. Which is why you’re always sent out to buy groceries, because they could rely on you to choose the best ones. It annoyed you at first, but over time you got used to it. The sun shone through your sunhat, leaving delicate geometric designs on your skin, and you smiled at the sight of the harbour in front of you. You were about done shopping, and were about to go for one last thing, which were turnips. You looked through all stalls, but to your dismay, you didn’t find a single one. Odd, since turnips were best at this season. Surely farmers wouldn’t miss out on a delicacy such as this now, the time is just right! You talked to nearby townspeople, but they all stated that they had the same luck as you. You were about to give up, when you saw out the corner of your eye a man in a black overcoat pulling out a wagon full of what seemed to look like… turnips? Your eyes widened, and without second thought you ran full speed towards the wagon. Soon enough, you barreled through the crowd, not giving a fleeting thought to what they were saying about you. You caught up to the wagon, but before you could observe your surroundings you were pulled into a musty trance of a sort, a white cloud fogged your vision before an obsidian black leaked your view. You opened your eyes to find an odd-shaped room, covered with trinkets of every shape, colour, and size imaginable. The walls were draped with posters, and large piles of books with seeping amounts of dust enveloped each cover of the book. Your eyes scanned the room, and you found even more trinkets, books, and posters covered around. It was almost peaceful, that you found yourself almost drifting to sleep when you realized you were in a room, that was not yours. You shot up out of the bed and heard a quick knock on the door. Your heart raced, you weren’t sure of what had happened. You weren’t even sure of the date. The door knocked again, and you managed to whisper out a ‘Come in.’. The door opened to an attractive male with slender features, hair the colour of flaxen and azure eyes. His smile was warming, and your eyes trailed to what he was holding in his hand. A small wooden tray of teacups, a glass of sugar, a teapot and a mug of milk resided with him. He placed the tray on your lap and spoke. ‘Finally awake, hm? You were out for a few hours, so don’t worry about the time.’ His voice was like silk, it cascaded through every part of your body without leaving out a single part. He truly enchanted you, but who was he? ‘I… *ahem* what happened a few hours prior?’ You asked, internally facepalming at the question. You realized then that a much better thing to say would be ‘Thank you’, but it never crossed your mind. ‘Only a slight delusion that might have killed the regular commoner. But, by fate, it didn’t kill you. I’m grateful you’re alive at this moment.’ He said, completely dumbfounding you. ‘K-kill me? What..?’ Was all you could muster out your voice, but the man beamed and placed his index finger on your mouth, indicating that you should calm down. ‘Shh, I said it might have. There have been instances before where they survive, but I’ve never seen them personally. Consider yourself lucky.’ He removed his index finger and slowly poured out the tea from the pot. The steam helped calm you down, and your breaths felt more tranquil than ever before. He let out a laugh then asked if you would prefer sugar or milk in your tea and you responded with (P). He poured it/them into your drink, thanked him, and took a sip. The comforting feeling of home indulged your senses, and you quickly sipped more. ‘I can assume that you don’t know who I am, from your lack of presentness of your surroundings.’ The man spoke, making you look up from your hot drink. ‘What do you mean?’ You asked, confused to why he would ask that. ‘Look outside.’ Was all he responded back with, leaving you even more puzzled. You turned your back around, shocked to find that you were floating in the air. The scenery of greenery was all but small dots as if in a landscape, and a sigh escaped your lips of pure wonder. ‘You’re Howl, aren’t you?’ You said, intrigued with the man even more. You turned back around to see him smiling. ‘I guess introduction is no longer needed.’ You let out a small laugh, and turned back to the window once more. The scene was breathtaking, you could keep watching it for hours. The rain that fell from the sky gave a pleasant rhythm with the castles movements, and the ambience of the mood made you feel a bit more tired. Howl noticed this, and orated. ‘If you feel tired, I can bring back the drink to the kitchen. It can be remade after your slumber.’ Your eyes trailed to his caring eyes and you couldn’t help but nod at his generosity. He took the cup and tray from your lap, and you laid back down in the bed. Your exhaustion seeped in, and soon enough you were fast asleep once more. Before you knew it, you found yourself in the castle of none other than Howl himself, who has a knack of reading people before they even spoke. He really was a wizard, a wizard that could eat your heart alive. If only you didn’t first, maybe he had a shot of what yours truly tasted like~ Thank you for reading this POV!! Super longgg, but at the same time short? Idk, I guess it was the perfect length (to me of course). I like my tea like I like my men, hot and ready to be served whenever ;) AAHHH jkkk, but still, happy you decided to stick to the end! You were out for a few hours, so don’t worry about the time.’ His voice was like silk, it cascaded through every part of your body without leaving out a single part. He truly enchanted you, but who was he? ‘I… *ahem* what happened a few hours prior?’ You asked, internally facepalming at the question. You realized then that a much better thing to say would be ‘Thank you’, but it never crossed your mind. ‘Only a slight delusion that might have killed the regular commoner. But, by fate, it didn’t kill you. I’m grateful you’re alive at this moment.’ He said, completely dumbfounding you. ‘K-kill me? What..?’ Was all you could muster out your voice, but the man beamed and placed his index finger on your mouth, indicating that you should calm down. ‘Shh, I said it might have. There have been instances before where they survive, but I’ve never seen them personally. Consider yourself lucky.’ He removed his index finger and slowly poured out the tea from the pot. The steam helped calm you down, and your breaths felt more tranquil than ever before. He let out a laugh then asked if you would prefer sugar or milk in your tea and you responded with (P). He poured it/them into your drink, thanked him, and took a sip. The comforting feeling of home indulged your senses, and you quickly sipped more. ‘I can assume that you don’t know who I am, from your lack of presentness of your surroundings.’ The man spoke, making you look up from your hot drink. ‘What do you mean?’ You asked, confused to why he would ask that. ‘Look outside.’ Was all he responded back with, leaving you even more puzzled. You turned your back around, shocked to find that you were floating in the air. The scenery of greenery was all but small dots as if in a landscape, and a sigh escaped your lips of pure wonder. ‘You’re Howl, aren’t you?’ You said, intrigued with the man even more. You turned back around to see him smiling. ‘I guess introduction is no longer needed.’ You let out a small laugh, and turned back to the window once more. The scene was breathtaking, you could keep watching it for hours. The rain that fell from the sky gave a pleasant rhythm with the castles movements, and the ambience of the mood made you feel a bit more tired. Howl noticed this, and orated. ‘If you feel tired, I can bring back the drink to the kitchen. It can be remade after your slumber.’ Your eyes trailed to his caring eyes and you couldn’t help but nod at his generosity. He took the cup and tray from your lap, and you laid back down in the bed. Your exhaustion seeped in, and soon enough you were fast asleep once more.
Before you knew it, you found yourself in the castle of none other than Howl himself, who has a knack of reading people before they even spoke. He really was a wizard, a wizard that could eat your heart alive. If only you didn’t first, maybe he had a shot of what yours truly tasted like~
