adreyn is really coming off as a bad person. smirking and talking about someone wanting to off themselves, saying it was 'tactic' also calling honey white when she's literally middle eastern to try and get points from the black community... he was going off on another ep about how its so unfair that some people blow and he doesn't but the truth is, if you have such a dark spirit, you wont succeed.
1. Google anti-blackness in the Middle East. 2. Lots of middle eastern people look white so they can easily pass as white and therefore they benefit from white/light-skin privileges. And due to that privilege, but them not actually being socially white, they are often placed on a pedestal by blacks or brown people. So it's not crazy to suspect that she is using her privilege to gain sympathy. 3. HOWEVER, yes I agree that downplaying someone's admission that they were suicidal is really not acceptable. Such statements should always be taken VERY SERIOUSLY. So that was very disappointing. Even more disappointing is the fact that the show didn't put a statement below stating that if anyone is suffering from suicidal ideation etc, that they should speak to someone. These reality shows really be exploiting people's suffering.
