- A compilation of droneshots we made while visiting the Ionian Island Kefalonia in Greece. Location include Myrtos Beach, Fiscardo, Melissani cave, Argostoli, Assos, The Venetian Castle ruins, Mount Ainos, Petani Beach and other places that we found on the way during our trip.
All shots were made with a DJI Inspire 1 Pro with Zenmuse X5 camera.

Combination of rugged hills, mountains and coastline, incredible ocean colors, beautifully treed vegetation, blue skies, what a wonderful palette this island is. All the Ionian Islands have this beauty.

There is different ways to get there, so you can check every option and see which one is the cheapest/better for you and your family after this pandemic:
- Kefalonia island has its own airport.
- There's also Preveza's airport - that it is on the mainland and it is 17km away from Lefkada island, also part of the beautiful Ionian islands and it is accessible by bus, car or any other form of transportation. Then, you can take a ferry from Nidry's second big city of Lefkada that it is almost two hours away from Kefalonia's island. The ferry costs 8 euros one way (at least that's how it was back then - almost three years ago) and the views are absolutely beautiful.
- You can travel to Patras - third biggest city of Greece - and take a ferry from there to Zakynthos Ionian island, explore the island as well and then take a ferry to Kefalonia - I think the ferry was like 12 euros one way.
- Go to Athens or Thessaloniki, take a five-six hours bus to Lefkada and from there go to Kefalonia by ferry. The bus is like 36-38 euros.
I lived in Lefkada island for a year thanks to the European Voluntary Service - European Solidarity Corps that it is called nowadays. We tried to live in the most cheapest way because we had a small amount of pocket money through the project. So I don't know about hotels, airbnb's or anything else because we had a house and then most of the time we were traveling with our tents and hitchhiking around.
I am more than happy and grateful to have that experience in my life. We took care about everything.. so please, let's all take care about our earth. It is absolutely beautiful

Hij's fijn ziet er zeer professioneel uit, respect dat je dit telkens doet met zo een enorme drone als de inspire.
Thanks! Het is inderdaad niet de makkelijkste drone om mee te nemen en je houdt bijna geen ruimte meer over in je koffer en handbagage, maar je moet er wat over hebben haha ;).
Het resultaat mag er dan ook zeker wezen en de inspire moet haast wel een van de fijnst te vliegen drones zijn.

Wow ik kende je al toen je een kleine youtuber was maar nu echt zo mooi bijna niet te geloven.
Haha thanks. Ik zie mezelf trouwens niet als UA-camr (heb echt een hekel aan Enzoknol en al die andere 'trending' videos op UA-cam), maar ik snap wat je bedoelt! Mijn eerste drone-video van 1 jaar geleden is echt niet om aan te zien ;) (scheve horizon, schokkende bewegingen, overbelicht). Heb dus gelukkig in een jaar tijd veel geleerd en ook mooi om te zien dat een aantal videos 't goed doen op UA-cam en Facebook. Nu beginnen commerciele drone-opdrachten ook binnen te komen dus gaat lekker! Jij hebt trouwens ook een aantal mooie videos gemaakt! Met de drone doe je niks meer?

Epic video to one of the most beautifull islands I have ever seen. Just one comment, at 2:50 is not Petani beach, that is actually Agia Eleni Beach , which is located in Petani bay, near Petani beach!

But often it is allowed if the claimant agrees with 'monetization' on UA-cam (that's why you probably saw a commercial before watching the video). The money generated from that goes to the artist and I get to use the music in my video.

I have been there 12 times and it is the most beautiful of all the islands I have been to and the people are just lovely. The road from Katelios to Skala to Poros is just beautiful. God willing, I'll be back there again in June.

Greece is a special place!! I’m from Columbus, Ohio but lived in Athens for a few years in the 90’s, with my roommate working at the embassy. I saw so many gorgeous islands, this place included. I hope you go back often.

Kefalonia is one of the most beautiful islands in greece...amazing (really amazing) beaches, great history, monuments, so many fantastic villages and the most important thing....crazy crazy residents...they are...believe me... for me its a unique place...you will love it
Oh, and another thing...this video has just few of the amazing places... f.e. In this video you dont see lixouri town, antisamos beach, makrys-platys gialos beach, xi/megas lakkos beach, lepeda beach, petani beach(unfortunately it is not the beach on the video), atheras beach, skala beach, platia ammos beach (amazing beach, even better than myrtos), drogarati cave, kipourgia monastery, saint gerasimos church, poros town, sami town and lots of other places...you need more than 10-15 days to visit them all...
