Cloudburst

Ferde Grofe` wrote the five part Grand Canyon Suite which was premiered in 1932 by the Paul Whiteman Orchestra. We present the 5th Movement, "Cloudburst" depicting in music, the calm before the storm, then a storm passing over the Grand Canyon at dusk and finally the moon breaking out from the clouds as the storm quickly passes.
