on synnit anteeksi,
on täytetty vaativa laki,

is filled with joy today;
the throng of saints rejoices
before the Lamb always.
2.The crystal sea of mercy
is cleansing us from sin;
the weak and poor are strengthened,
victorious to remain.
3.What bliss beyond all measure!
The Bride is welcomed home;
there warfare will be ended;
the vict’ry will be won.
4.With saints I’ll sing the praises
of Christ, the Lamb of God,
for through His blood He saved me;
to Him I am betrothed.
5.O child of God, be joyful!
Your sins are pardoned all.
The law which was accusing
completely is fulfilled!
6.Though trav’ling oft in sorrow,
my song of joy I raise,
for soon I’ll see forever
my blessed Bridgeroom’s face.
7.The Bride shall meet the Bridgeroom;
He’ll give to her a crown;
where sin is gone, and sorrow,
no tears will ever flow.
