    As an rc boat guy i recommend that if the electronic board is not coated then its really not waterproof or water resistant. Water WILL get past those oring seals. If your going to be in the wet then its a good idea to treat/apply with conformal coating yourself (dont get it on the actual connections) if it is not. Also make sure to apply "Corrosion X" to the connectors as well imo.

      Yeh definitely I always tell people to have the receiver in a balloon and seal up the end seems to work well although flysky new fbr8 receiver is fully waterproof so guess that would be fine as it is made out of resin and has no holes at all

      @@WTFRCCars yes, the balloon thing is an old boater trick.. we use sealed boxes (which are never perfect 😉) I really like the FlySky receiver stuff as most of the boards are coated and really haven't had any problems even after dunking. In your last video on the Yantrs you sold me on that 27kg servo and getting one for my Mugen MSB-1 with the programmer. Then I'll try a higher torque for my gas boats. 💪🔥

    Been using the black ones, first ones you tested in here, on a 35% 3D airplane since April 2021. No complains whatsoever

      Yeh even the early ones where great servos just listed incorrectly as brushless and they where coreless not that core less are bad servos and some would take a good core less over brushless for the very fast response time due to lower motor mass :) but there doing it right now and they have an excellent servo :) think they should still do the core less ones too :)

      @@WTFRCCars I also have some Coronas 35kg that looks EXACTLY like this DMONDS reds. When buying the Coronas from the factory, the sales girl told me Corona does manufacture “other brands” bud didn’t quite said DMONDS

    I saw a tiny light inside this circuit, you may see them light up while the servo work with the box opened, as jx servo

    People online are claiming this servo is not brushless but infact, brushed. They also claim the price in no way reflects the company's claim of brushless motor to be true. Cracking the servo open would confirm one way or the other what's truth.

    • @WTFRCCars
      @WTFRCCars  Місяць тому

      I actually open it in the video and show it's brushless?

    • @lipoz-n-nitroz4012
      @lipoz-n-nitroz4012 Місяць тому +1

      @WTFRCCars I stopped watching after you posted the meter results, had I watched a bit more I've would have seen the board and it's components. Even though the board has the electronics to run a brushless motor, that doesn't confirm it. In any event, servo appears decent for the money but actual usage will truly tell. Some no name brands are trash, others are gems. Only one way to find out.

    • @WTFRCCars
      @WTFRCCars  Місяць тому +1

      @lipoz-n-nitroz4012 with the electrics in it it couldn't run a brushed motor so yeh this is definitely brushless and yep definitely need sticking in the kraton 6s and taking for a bash :)
