Based on the Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire border in England, husband and wife Matt and Isabelle explore attractions and day out locations across the UK. From zoos, safari parks, theme parks, gardens and National Trust estates to castles, cities, towns and villages, we find out if you should visit and is it worth the money.
Great video as always. I always wanted to go on a Concorde. Thanks for the tour 😊
Concorde was fantastic. It's insane how futuristic it still looks (at least from the outside)! Hard to believe it was designed in the 60s. Hope you're having a good long weekend. Matt and Issy
Hello Guys thanks for showing us around the beautiful 😍 double museum at Brooklands in Surrey ❤.
It sure was great to see the aircraft and nice old cars with motor mobilia.
Happy New year to you both 🎉❤️🥳,best wishes Simon and Beth ♥️ 🙋
Hi there! You're very welcome. We're glad you like the video, thanks for watching and commenting. Happy New Year to you guys too. Have a great 2024! Matt and Issy
Thank you guys for another really interesting video - the time and effort you take to make them is very much appreciated! I thought Concord looked awesome! I remember the days when it was in action - nice that it's been preserved for all to see. 🙂
You're very welcome. We're glad you enjoyed it! It was definitely novel to go onboard a concorde. The whole museum was fascinating. Thanks for watching! Matt and Issy
That looks a fascinating place.
It was! So much to see, and so much history.
Barnes Wallis invented the bouncing bomb used in the Dambusters raid, which is properly why you know his name. I did not know of his work on the Blenheim. Great video
Yes, we realised that halfway round the museum. Knew we'd heard the name somewhere! Thanks for watching! Matt and Issy
Hi guys hope you are all well. Looks like a fascinating place to visit thanks for taking us round. Concorde is amazing looking even now when you consider how far back it dates, such a contrast to those early planes. Hope you have a great weekend, best wishes Dave & Dawn ❤
Hi! We said exactly the same thing about concorde. It still looks amazing and it was originally prototyped and designed in the mid sixties! So far ahead of its time. Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend guys. Matt and Issy x
Looks a great place to visit. Didn't know about Barnes-Wallace and the geodetic design in plane structures only the bouncing bomb. No doubt a brilliant man. Learnt something new. Well done with the video and little Sienna.
Hi would you recommend to go brookland museum and mercedez world same day or different days?
Hi there. We have already visited Brooklands Museum and Mercedes World (videos are on our channel). We really enjoyed them, particularly Brooklands. Thanks for the suggestion though! If you ever have any more, let us know. Thanks for watching. Matt and Issy
@ExploreHomeRepeat yes I've watched both videos. Would you recommend going to both places on same day or different days
Sorry, I miss read your comment! I would say that you could do them on the same day, but brooklands is pretty big with a lot to see. You would need the ENTIRE day to fit it all in. You may struggle to see everything, but as with all museums, it depends how long you spend reading everything etc. Mercedes world is definitely not a whole day thing, unless you do the the driving experiences. We did them on separate days, but we did have a baby with us. Hope that helps. Matt and Issy
@@ExploreHomeRepeat thanks. I really enjoy your channel
Thanks so much, that's great to hear!
