I just picked up the iPhone 12 mini a week ago (came from Android) and couldn't be any happier. People are afraid of the battery life, but I've yet to go below 15% before charging for the night and I consider myself a fairly good phone user.
Ditto!! I also just came from Samsung had the mini a few days and I’m already paranoid about the battery. It’s the only reason to be to be worried about buying this phone 🙈😬 still I realised it’s cheaper to get the mini and a portable charger and just go through the battery than buy a pro (you could even get two minis for the price of a pro!!) 😂
would you advice the 13 mini instead when theres a 50$ difference only ?
@@BlueSky-rd5yd Depends on where you live but if it's only 50$ go ahead if you want all the latest 13 mini upgrades since it's the last mini phone.

Went from iPhone 4 to iPhone 6 and hated the larger size. My girlfriend got the 11 and it looked like a pizza box. When I saw the 12 mini I just threw a wad of cash and ran out of BestBuy with my nee phone. Love this little thing. Hopefully small phones stick around so I can upgrade again in a dozen years.
Initially, I was getting around 3-4 hours of screen on time on my 12 Mini, but after making a few changes in the location setting, I am able to get around 6 hours of screen on time!!!

My 5 watt wireless charger I found at the Walmart checkout works fine charges kind of slow but that’s better on the battery of a phone
I'm loving my 12 mini! I had the same ideas as you lol. I got a headphone jack dongle bc I use really old wired headphones, and a 20w usbc brick (I got an anker one tho.) I have my eye on a cheap case + screen protector, and thinking about getting a magsafe puck. so I absolutely agree with the stuff you recommended, except airpods pro/max. for me, it's not worth it to be wireless.
How's it been so far? I'm thinking about getting one in white when I get paid.
@@ryannnftw I'd recommend it for sure! 100$ less for what's essentially the same phone. Battery life isn't too bad for me, and I have smaller hands so the size is perfect.

Battery Case ! If there were a sleek battery case for the mini then I think that could take this phone to a new level. Opening it up to power users a bit more.
What do you think of Apple's MagSafe battery? I know it gets a lot of hate but I got one for Christmas and I love it. It's not that bulky and it just prolongs the battery life of the phone when you're having a 'heavier day' with it. It's definitely not supposed to replace a power bank, but is just a battery life extender.

In the year that I’ve had my Xs (my first iPhone since the 5) I have broken 4-5 screen protectors, but my screen is still pristine
I just switched from android to the iPhone 12 mini the only downside is the notch is huge for a small phone on the 12/pro/max it’s not that notable
