This is one of my favourites from the whole series. You wouldn't be able to make that now, because your not aloud to laugh at things like that now. Someone will get offended because they haven't got a chuckle button. Bring back the good old days.
Saw Paul Riley (Winston) last year and he mentioned this sketch and the flake comment. Said BBC wouldn't allow it. He said after, all of us in the audience bursting out laughing it should have stayed.
Should've had the boys on, to see what they thought of it then and now. The flake line should've stayed. Very funny and matches the look on her face at as she goes to drive off. Great sketch.
I saw this sketch for the first time today (well several times now!). The tears were rolling down my face for ages afterwards. It has been a while that I have seen enjoyed real humour since TV channels have become so sanitized and politically correct.
Was this a covid thing? Geez I'm glad I live in the US. It was only when I met up with old friends recently that that I realised that the UK economy literally stopped for several years, whilst people elsewhere were hiring and building companies (we had offices reopen in 2020). No wonder the UK is going down the toilet when the BBC was normalising garbage like that. It's genuinely tragic that people went along with it, although I get the impression that nobody felt the need to virtue signal outside of cities (a friend said his local village pub continued to unofficially be open all throughout)
I watched the whole episode, and you don't see the boys at night until the end of the show...double whammy, it was the best ending ever.
They should have kept the Flake line in 😂
Yep, & added sprinkles.
For those old enough to remember the Marianne Faithfull story, this line should definitely have been retained. Makes it twice as funny.
@@steveboyle184 Was that not a Mars Bar ? 😂
@@eebo63 It was a Mars Bar ( Hopefully not a deep fried one!! ) though the story is an urban myth 😛
@@eebo63 Not according to Keith Richards - he reckons Mick liked Picnics, not Mars Bars.
Love this sketch. The line about the ‘Flake’ wasn’t a step too far at all.
😱😱😅😅😅
The expressions on the 2 little boys faces were hilarious, great actors these kids.
The funniest sketch I have ever seen 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Aye, course they are. Dinny you sweat it! 😜 Aw the best fae up the road pal! 😄❤😁
Just a magnificent piece of Scottish comedy. Karen Dunbar is gold.
This is one of the funniest bits I’ve seen on TV. The bottle smashing onto the ground is hilarious. 😂
So iconic! Love seeing them together again 😍
The science teacher sketches cracked me up. Superb comedy. I miss this sort of stuff.
Such a funny scene and the wee lads still there at night with their mouths still open. 🤣👏
It’s class. One of the best CTF sketches. 😂
Wish it gets released on DVD
They should put it back on tv as an ice cream advert
It’s absolutely brilliant and the flake would have been hilarious legendary 😂👍🇬🇧
im 49 now, but I was in my early 20's, this sketch and the one where satan goes into the pie shop are my faves.
It was a belter of a sketch…. I agree, shoulda left the flake line in….hilarious.😂
Absolutely brilliant!

I was literally talking about this sketch the other week, no way you get away with that now 😂
Superb
Are boys OK 😂😂 I hope you the glass was cleaned up 😂

Great sketch.
Glaswegian guy goes to the dentist. Dentist sits him down and adjusts the chair, then asks, “Comfy?”
Guy replies, “Castlemilk”.
Definitely a sketch on a par with Only Fools... when Del falls through the bar hatch!
This is miles better ya tool. On a par?....Pfffttttt.🤬
Simply the best comedy sketch ever……
Can you explain the “flake” part for and American
It's a Cadbury's chocolate bar. Often inserted into the top of an ice-cream cone (what the boy was holding)
"that's a 99" if see the chocolate on ice cream there is what a flake is, was nice when was 99p
Try that today guys there would be uproar 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Try that today and there’s a good chance she wouldn’t have a fanny😂
a read through with the missing line would be epic.

Classic Humor! So well done ! It’s True …….and it works on Any age man
Lets be honest.....the first sight is always pretty scary. 🤣
Risqué Scottish humour at its very finest…..I almost died laughing the first time I saw it. 😅
The whole series chewing the fat including still game some of the funniest stuff on tv equal to fools and horses
Watching chewing the fat in 2024..

Snowflakes
It wasn’t funny though
Ever considered you're on the spectrum? No joke.
This should be taken down by UA-cam and the BBC should be ashamed of it... essentially showing an adult female exposing herself to children...
Get a grip of yourself.
