Raquelle has personality coz she get to experience hardship established by her own mindset, and with her mindset, she's definitely not perfect. There was an episode when she said something along the lines of "I can finally feel good about myself for once" and it explains, but not tolerates, her antics. And she may be toxic and bad but her attitude doesn't really majorly hurts ANYONE except HERSELF and no one really is concerned about changing her or smthn. There was an episode when she set a trap for Barbie but she was guilty and it was uno reverse card instead, so she really just wanted competition.
Imo Barbie can be looked up to but there's no background on her coz she's too unrelatable, and she's annoyingly nice coz everything is good about her and there's no reason for her to be upset and sht.
TLDR; Barbie is nice but one-dimensional, Raquelle is bad but her reasons are understandable but not tolerable; she needs character development and then that's when she can become a better idol than bland Barbie.

I can kinda relate to Raquel. Raquel had always tried so hard to win and impress everyone but no one ever appreciate her efforts or congratulate her.
