Another must see or have video is Clerks X with Kevin Smith. A lot of great features and commentary etc... Must have dvd. I loved your talk on the top goriest films of all time. Towards the end I couldn't stop laughing. It was like me when I was straightening out my movies and they fell over. Because of that scene, you are the first person I subscribed to. Thanks for the laughter coolduder. :)
"Carrie" and "John Carpenter's The Thing" are loaded with outstanding special features / feature-length documentaries - but I'm certain you already knew that.... I also really love the special features for the now-out-of-print "Big Trouble in Little China" - outstanding comentary, overall excellent movie with tons of extras .....
My Top 10 Must-have DVD´s: 1: Alien 2: Aliens 3: Alien Resurrection 4: Gremlins 5: Ghostbusters (I bet MJ own it. :D) 6: Shaun of the Dead 7: Tenacious D - The Pick of Destiny (Also known as: Kings of Rock - Tenacious D) 8: Ringu - The Original 9: I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry 10: Night of the Living Dead Back to the future is awesome, too. Greets from Germany
Mine Must Own dvd's 10) T2 9)Batman box set and batman begains 8)rocky box set 7) Die Hard 1-4 Box set 6) Starwars 1-6 5) Titanic 4 disc CE 4) Wizard of oz 3) 24 Season 1-5 Box set 2) Hary Potter 1-5 set 1 ) Lord of the Rings Trilogy Awesome Videos Keep Up the great work ps how about doing a video of your best tv shows
Clerks X is an incredible Dvd for all of the features and Kevin SMith movie's always have the best commentaries. Evil dead 2 also has a great commentary track
I would have to agree with the Breakfast Club in the list. Iconic 80's!!! A real time capsule movie that revolves around character development. Very difficult to narrow down 10 though.
I thought the same thing too since I was watching my movies on just a 32" HDTV, but after buying a 50" HDTV I can tell a HUGE difference between Blu Ray and DVD quality. DVDs just don't look that great on larger HDTVs.
The reason the scenes in Bean were cut out is because that's how they were originally aired. The scenes that were added were a sort of special feature in the VHS version.
i agree on the bill & ted movies, those are like the best late 80s early 90s films i really like only, i never heard of pee-wee but i'm gonna look for it because ever since i watched your dvd collection video's about your fav. horrors and comedy's i got to see a whole new line of movies i didn't even know they exited like TICKS and frankenhooker. there one list that you could do it's only a suggestion: a list off your favorite james bond movies.
Mind me asking...what do you do for a living? - You seem to have the entire time in the universe to watch DVDs and abundant of money to buy all those collection. I would love to do what you are doing. One thing I like most about your comments is honesty. It pours from your own non-bias opinion. Keep it up.
Nice picks Shawn! I totally agree that the Simpsons does the best bonus features for an animated TV show. A few DVD sets that I think are fantastic are the Sin City Recut Extended 2 disc set because not only are Rodriguez's bonus features really good but they also have a copy of one of the Sin city graphic novels which is really great, and of course the Band of Brothers series boxset is a must own IMO because the show is fantastic IMO, the bonus features are interesting and that tin the show co
here's my top ten of most own movies: (this is without all the standard movies that almost eveyone has) 01-The Breakfast club (it changed my life) 02-Silver Bullet 03-Fright Night 04-Detroit rock city 05-The new guy 06-Sleepaway Camp 07-Freedom Writers 08-The machine girl 09-Azumi 10-The Mask
the only movie on your list i own is back to the future trilogy, which i LOVE!!! it actually drives my mom insane when i bring up the movie...she thinks i watch it too much even though i haven't watched it in over a month...
There's a new Bean Collection out in the UK. I'm waiting for it to go down in price a little. I really need it though, big part of my childhood! Just bought the Alien set myself and bought the B2TF set recently too. Totally agree on those sets and of course PEE WEE. An absolute Essential! I do need to get the series but heard about a complete set so waiting for that. Anyway Love this idea for an update and will hopefully do one myself!
I agreed with most of those. Heres a few more dvds I could watch a lot): Robocop Gremlins Napolean Dynamite Indiana Jones Trilogy Team America Kingpin the South Park movie .... most of those are great movies to quote as well.
my top 10 1) Beerfest 2) Taken 3) Snatch 4) Never Backdown 5) The Forbidden Kingdom 6) Jet li's Unleashed (Danny the dog) 7) College 8) American pie Beta house 9) Oceans Eleven 10) Viva La Bam / Jackass Colletions Question my taste, i don't care what you have to say if it's negative...
T2 is great, ireally need to get a good copy of that. cause the extreme edition sucks. Aliens I have the collectors edition of and it great. Back to the Future I bought the full screen one by accident, love the extras. Pee Wees Big Adventure is one of my top 1o fav of all time. I heard there gonna be a nother Pee Wee film too. Simpons I just haave season 3,4, and 5 its a great set I gotta get more. Great must own vid. You should do a best special edition dvds vid. peace and good work as always.
I have the extreme edition of T2 it looks same box but the tin is a skull. I would also say the star trek movies have alot of features on them as well the orginal cast movies. I love my Back to the Future set its a great bunch of movies.
i bought a box set tht was all the alien films and both predator films and also avp1.wasnt too dear and the packaging was minimal but it was a great buy for me at £25
top 10 MUST OWNS are star wars trilogy, godfather trilogy, indiana jones(all),die har(all),spaceballs/blazzing saddles, ghostbusters 1 and 2, evil dead 1,2,and army of darkness, night, dawn, and day of thedead, caddyshack, back to the future trilogy tv shows family guy, simpsons, married with children, the office, chappells show
i actually have those 2 mr. bean episode originals so the scenes are still in. i actually bought them all seperatly along with rowan atkinsons one man stand up show which is suprisingly fresh for a stand up.
Id put they live in there, that movie has the best quoute of all time! But yea this is one of the most beautiful movies ever made: butch cassidy and the sundance kid! a must own=)
Other must owns movies: Spirited Away: This movie is kinda like if you were in a dream. And you don't want to wake-up Princess Mononoke: It's a wonderful movie. Everyone should check this one out. Kids and adults
I thought i saw pretty good deal on Amazon, the "Alien - Predator Total Destruction Collection" includes all four Alien films, both Predators, and both unrated AVPs, and it's only $39.99 (with free shipping) , which is only $6 more than the Alien quadrilogy, so i know what i'm buying!
Must Own 1.The Deer Hunter (2 disc set) 2.Jurrasic adventure pack 3.The Godfather Trilogy 4.Back To The Future Triology 5.The Great Escape (2-Disc Collector's Set) 6.Idiana Jones Set 7.Band of Brothers series 8.Dumb And Dumber 9.Saving Private Ryan (2 disc set) 10.Gladiator (3 disc set)
What is the difference between Back To The Future box sets. I know there's a blue version, I have the black version (background color of the set), with three discs, is there a huge difference between them, and do you get better features on the blue one (the one he shows in the video)?
When you buy your DVD's, do you make sure you get the best edition of each DVD? because im really picky with my dvds, im refusing to buy reservoir dogs or kill bill because i need the 15th anniversary gas can packaging, and with kill bill, im waiting for the whole bloody affair. Im also a sucker for collections even if I havent seen the movies, like now I want the Alien quadrilogy even though I havent seen any of the alien movies.
I would recommend the 3 box set of the lord of the rings. Of course they're awesome movies, but there is a ton of extra features and it's insane to see how much work it took to make them.
Alien 1-4 DVd is fantastic, hands down the best extras on any DVD. 2 versions of all 4 movies. However i bought it when it first came out for £70, and its £15 now :(
It's a shame really, the scene they cut out with the old women in the electric chair that Bean was fucking with was hilarious. Oh well, I still retain my VHS collection of the series.
Have u got the Alien quadrilogy that has the big alien head in which the disks are kept? that might be worth buying if ur into into collecting special edition boxsets
I had to buy the Ultimate Edition of Terminator 2 because it is my all time favorite film, but the copy I got was I think the later version of the Ultimate Edition so it is 2 disks instead of a double sided disk, and the dust jacket is just cardboard instead of a steel one.
Well Pee-wee isn't that popular here... it's on tv maybe once every five years. Or less. I don't know if I saw the big adventure one, but from what I remember it was overall stupid. Any way you do a good job in front of the camera... not shy or nothing. I'm very impressed!
Good job, Coolduder. You make some good stuff. I agree with some of your choices but not every single one. Pee Wee is a Pee-ce of shit and Fawlty Towers is really much better than Mr Bean. =) For some reason you didn't pick the Lotr EE... the extras on those are great as hell. And the extended cut of Dances With Wolves is probably one of the best movies ever made. And last but not least the region 2 special edition of The Untouchables which has imo the best looking boxart ever. Over and out.
This guy is rad totally original and cool with being himself and showing off his DVD collection I dig it. You Rock 🙃
His mom was calling him. Dude Keep it up! Love your collection posts!
pulp fiction collector's edition is a must own!

i loved the alien quadrilody , my favorite is aliens. but i heard that set has like some glitches in it , have u had that problem with the quadrilogy?
Any American who likes the Young Ones, Bean and British comedy in general is automatically assigned 'legend' status.
I'd love to see a "best extra features" video!
wow dude i wish i was u becasue u own a loot of DVDs... i subscribed
