Man you don't know bumping in a edge until you put 2 L7 15s back there 😅 I'm just playing you like what you like. Me personally I want to feel my nose hairs dance so I am about to upgrade my amp to a bigger and badder one along with all the wiring and loc battery alternator everything and then I'll really make that edge shake.. but I am curious tho if you still have the stock alternator and what size wiring you have? Do some reading on these edges if you're ever planning on upgrading, gotta make sure you're not pushing it to its limits because the whole car is basically a computer. And as far as the stock sub in the back, Im tossing around the idea of putting a little powered 8 back there. You know for shits and giggles 😂
@JakeThomas, thanks for watching bro!! Really appreciate it! LOL, you made me LMAO.. haha.. yeah man, that's what I'm talkin bout.. nice and bumping!! 2 15s must be massive bump! .. I can just imagine. . I don't have my Edge any longer but, it had the stock alternator. Speaker wire I used 12 guage for sure.. positive and negative from the batter to the amps I used 4 gauge.. The set up I had in the Edge was really nice.. super clean and clear with just enough bump to feel the bass kick and low frequencies.. Thanks man, I can tell you're a music man for sure!! Yes! Stay safe my friend.. PEACE!!

Thanks for watching Music Travels!! I know an aftermarket HU would be much better but I wanted to keep the original unit. The JLAuduo fix 86 really provides amazing clean and clear signal! 👌
Hi Marc, thanks for watching my video! Really appreciate it. My Edge doesn't have the Sony but, it will be the same connections . You will disconnect the Outputs from your Sony. Those go to your factory speakers. Connect the outputs to the inputs of your aftermarket Amp. Then the outputs of that Amp to your speakers.
@@ecobooster8298 i was try it but doesnt work. If i connect the outputs from the dsp(sony) i get no full range signal. And when i connect to the outputs from the radio i cant control my volume anymore.
@@wiblive hmm not sure 2hy.. here's exactly how I connected mine. Factory Amp speaker and sub outputs to the JL Audio inputs. Then from the JL audio outputs to the 4 channel inputs and to the subwoofer input. Outputs from the amps to the speakers. You need to go from your Factory Amp to a dsp.. you can't go from the factory Amp to another Amp. If all else fails, you may need to check with an installer. But it should work how I mentioned above.

Well, I don't know what to say 😅. Actually, I do. 🫣That setup is the worst I've seen since the 90s, 24" trunk speaker installs. The sub is just horrific. Now you have this loose box hogging up space. The original system sounds good on its own. You definitely got jacked because adjusting the eq levels would have probably solved your audible issues without blaring music at a lower volume setting. Also, the seat covers will dry out your real leather seats & do not compliment the car. Note: If the seat cushion wears out, replace it with a new one. You probably would have done better by getting an air intake system or an intercooler mod. Even getting caliper covers or painting them is better than the mod you did. But hey its your money🤣🤣🤣
