I love the way you let the children explore and allow them to paint the entire bug instead of asking them to continue the intentional task of "bug prints". Thank you!!
I’ve never planted the mammoth sunflowers with my littles before! Last year we did beans and one of my littles ended up planting his at home. They enjoyed many beans through the summer and it sparked an interest in gardening. This year they have planned out a whole garden and the whole family is excited about it!
Thank you for some new ideas and the flower craft ❤️
That is wonderful that it sparked a family interest in gardening! I’ve learned that many of my littles took such great care of their sunflowers all summer, once they were planted in the family garden. Such a wonderful lesson in taking care of a living thing!
The flowers turned out so adorable.
Thank you. They were fun to make!
@@Teaching2and3YearOlds Your welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed making them.
Thank you Sheryl, this is lovely. The activities you are doing with the kids are amazing. They are really enjoying 👍
Thank you! 😊
I love all of your printables on TPT they are so reasonably priced and versatile. I use them every month!
Thank you for the feedback! I’m so happy you like and use them! 🙂
Thanks for this! I want to do some gardening type activities this week with my two year olds for Earth day!
Let me know what you decide to do! 😊
@@Teaching2and3YearOlds of course! I think they would enjoy planting some sunflowers so I'll have to get some seeds tonight!
Wonderful content full of value. Thank u for sharing
Thank you for watching!

Hey Sheryl 👋 when you do your circle time and other hands on activities. How do you assess your children? Do you ask questions?
Yes, questions are always good. And if we are doing a matching activity, for example, I take note who was able to match the color, etc.
I wish I were a student in your class. Learning is so fun! What curriculum do you follow at your school?
We don’t have a particular curriculum, but the older classes supplement with Learning Without Tears. And thank you for the compliment! 😊
👍
where do you get the 8 inch craft sticks? I ordered some on amazon but they were not as wide
I link to the ones I use in this post: teaching2and3yearolds.com/easy-preschool-flower-craft/
