I agree with you on how a lot of romance books are copy and paste. This is probably because of how popular the romance category is in literature, some writers would probably just take a different story’s plot and make something else out of it so they could feed off the popularity.

Yeah, I don’t like reading too many romance books because I don’t want to read books with a lack of thought or passion in them.
Have you tried classics? Try Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. Its not romantic, but its tragic.
