    Worst coach in franchise history by far, people who don’t get it only excuse him cause they loved him as a player and blind to his very obvious and many shortcomings. Will never develop a winning culture till he’s gone.

      It's not the coach. This is a brand new team with nearly everyone being very young, with little NBA experience. No coach is going to do any better than Chauncey. He's a good coach and someone the team respects and likes. That's very important!!! The team and coach need to time to gel and build some continuity and become a true "TEAM".
      BE PATIENT.
      Please don't be a hater. Please respect the process of teaching these very young and inexperienced NBA players. Don't blame the coach as he's made huge progress with all these rookies and second year or new players to the Blazers. The NBA is a very tough league. The BEST IN THE WORLD! It takes time to build a team, gain experience, and gel and play well together.

      Yep fire Mr big incompetence! He’ll never have another head coaching job in this league, only reason why blazers keep him is cause Jody is equally incompetent and only cares about collecting her “stewardship” checks.

    The fact is that the Blazers are still tanking, and of course we fans are tired of it after so many seasons, but it does make sense. Because it puts the team in a position to be able to draft Cooper Flagg or one of the other highly-rated prospects that’ll be available next year. On the flip side of that, making the playoffs this season would mean the team would have to convey their first round pick to the Bulls next season. So it’s either a lottery pick or no first round pick at all next summer.

      Last year was tough. So many injuries and soooo little time for the starters to play together and gel and find some continuity. This year has started off with some injuries too and maybe just a few games where everyone is healthy. It's hard to put up with so much losing, but this team had 9 new players, out of 15, on the roster last year. A brand new team. Then, you factor in how many games the starters actually were on the floor together and it's just a few the whole damn year!
      This year, there are two major new components of the Blazers. Deni and Donovan. Donovan has been injured a while now, so that has limited the rotation from having all of it's members again! Having two major new players added into a rotation, and then Williams III coming back from injury all last year, that makes this team pretty much brand new again! My point is, things don't happen overnight! Yes, the Blazers have the players now, but they simply need to play together and get to a place where they are comfortable together. Just like what Robert Williams III says, "we just need to have a lot of games where we can play together". We fans need to be patient.
      No offense, but you are way, Way ahead of yourself with even thinking about making the playoffs this year!!! Vegas has the Blazers winning somewhere in the low 20 of games. It'll take close to 50 wins to make the playoffs in the West this year because of all the great teams.
      Come on man, the rotation has played maybe 10 games together? Maybe even less! There's no continuity in 10 games! I'm surprised when watching games that they are playing as good as they are when they play well together and have a good game. There's no way in hell this team can make the playoffs, even if they play every single game together for the rest of the season...even though we know that isn't gonna happen.
      WE ALL NEED TO BE PATIENT AND LET THIS TEAM GEL AND REALLY BECOME A "TEAM". Give them time and that will eventually happen. Honestly, it'll hopefully happen by half way through NEXT YEAR. This is a tough league. BE PATIENT AND GIVE THEM TIME.

    No he doesn't hold everyone accountable 😂😂😂 Grant is still starting and playing big minutes and Deni isn't. ( unless the front office said to specifically play Grant a ton to showcase him)

    • @gregbors8364
      @gregbors8364 10 годин тому +1

      Yes, Grant (30) is trade bait while Avdija (23) is being considered as part of the Blazers new core along with Sharpe, Clingan and maybe Scoot.

      I mean yeah we need to get grant value up and deni has been doing so insanely well off the bench i dont think theyll see the need to switch that up

    Alot of the trailblazers players remind me of the buffalo bills defensive players. Like Ed oliver ,deyondre ayton has good games once in a while but he costs to much to have for a backup. And grant you guys have him at the wrong position. He's a small forward. Power forwards get rebounds. Grant gets outrebounded by 6ft guards. And Williams 3rd well I'm not sure about him except if you wait to trade him he might get hurt again. And scooter, who knows. I think he's a lemon. 3rd pick in draft he ought to be averaging 25 points per game. Always hurt. I truly believe because we have a woman owner the gm,coach and a bunch of players need to be traded soon before all the players get ruined

    • @KOrnhOliO1
      @KOrnhOliO1 7 годин тому

      Ayton is the starter. It's obvious when he does the jump ball at half court, at the very start. Ayton starts and should be the starter. Donovan is no where near ready to start. Forget that idea. Williams III is coming off a terrible knee injury and I'm sure they would rather not have him start and put up that many minutes. Ayton is the starter.
      Damn man! All that other jargon you spewed in that comment above is some craZy AS$ $hit!
      Take your time, watch a lot of the NBA, and LEARN the game. Cuz that $hit above shows you don't know much about the NBA and how it works! SERIOUSLY.
      A 19 year old point guard doesn't come right into the NBA and average 25 points a game! Especially on this team where the Blazers have some awfully competent other guards along with Scoot Henderson. Now Scoot is 20 years old! Yup, that's it, 20. So, give him time and be patient and watch him grow. That's all we can do as fans right now is watch the players learn and grow and hope that this new team starts to gel and build some continuity.
      Vegas predicts somewhere around 20 wins this season. It'll take close to 50 wins in the West to earn a playoff spot because of soooo many great teams. The Blazers aren't even close to that good....YET. Be patient, watch and study the game closely. Learn how the NBA works...Then go ahead and comment....maybe next year. Your comments will make more sense once you study the NBA and gain more knowledge about the game. Best of luck and happy holidays!

      @KOrnhOliO1 dude quit acting like your some know it all. I've been a blazers fan since 75 season. Only now there team ain't worth the time of day. Owner sucks, gm sucks, coach is dumb. Half there players are lazy. And I have better things to do than watch a bunch of thugs play ball

      @ they won’t become a true team with a coach who is not trying to win. Not running specific and working plays for sharpe is the coaches problem. Playing grant Simon’s and ayton 30+ minutes when they are shooting
