Gotta remember, the reason Jason is so big is because hes a cartoon. Jason was towering in the movies so they made him like shaped like a building too portray that in an animated version. Think of him as "the muscle".
Unless someone can post enough clips to prove me otherwise, that is the worst perk in the game. It’s even worse in 2v2 because it can apply to your teammate as well. Keep in mind that it doesn’t just trigger if you’re suffering from knockback. Touching out-of-bounds by yourself is enough.
Uber jason caught me so off guard man. Obviously mkx didn't get that, but even his own damn game couldn't get it for the longest time and they pulled the plug before they could. I never thought that skin would see the light of day ever again.

I love the little references they've used for Jason's moves. The sleeping bag, the folding bed, and the teleport move are all little knowing nods to things he's done in the movies.

A "believe" bar for Neo, eventually he becomes the One, then you add a "virus" bar for Smith, eventually he turns into Legion. Morpheus can eventually become a character of his own that uses a katana, Trinity can use her motorcycle, etc.. as a Matrix fan, I hope this game milks the franchise, cameos would be a waste

His default appearance will probably be based on the the Matrix Reload one, since it's the most iconic, and have the other ones as skins. Always nice to see characters maintain a certain amount of consistency in moveset between games, I like that Jason has his fog teleport that has kind of coalesced into being a thing, based on the question of "how did he get there so fast off-screen?"

I’d guess they go with the Neo from the most popular Matrix movie, which is the first one. Maybe at some point they start doing EX versions of some changes or something. Because they could have three versions of him, and people might actually like a Neo that has moves based on the later movies, but going with those over the first movie seems like a huge mistake.

Don't read further if you don't want to spoil yourself. From the leak, most likely is the Wicked Witch from Oz and Beetlejuice. And from recent hints of other characters being added to the game (Dexter and the PPG), Mojo Jojo and Mandark are VERY likely to be added to the roster. Even with Mojo being a stage hazard in Townsville stage, it's not like that has stopped other fighting games to add background characters to be playable

I recall max saying there was a lack of villians around the early days of the beta. Seeing the launch trailer plus the joker reveal was their response to that particular criticism. Them all rounding up at the very end really feels like a complete cast for a starting roster.

Start Neo as the original with a Belief meter. He begins to believe and levels up.
That's a neat idea, he's film 1 Neo but he can get installs to fly and counter projectiles.
The entire game is a training arc for Neo.
If your opponent taunts you then it boosts your Meter too.
