What type of resin do you use, thin cast or deep pour? Does your manufacturer's instructions state 24 hours as the hardening time? Resins generally harden completely within 24 to 36 hours. But sometimes when the conditions are not met, it may harden late or not at all. The hardening time specified by the manufacturer is between 23-25°C at room temperature. If you leave the resin to harden in a cool place, the hardening time will be longer. If hardening does not occur despite being at the appropriate ambient temperature, check whether you have mixed the mixture in the correct ratio. Check the mixing ratio given in the manufacturer's instructions. (2:1)(3:1) Prepare the mixture in the correct proportions using a precision scale. Mix very well until you obtain a homogeneous appearance. First of all, review and check what I have written.
@ I use craft resin and yes it is stated that it will cure after 24 hours. I don’t know if my measurements are wrong cos sometimes the hardner is much by few drops
A few drops too much resin or hardener is not a problem as long as you do not make too little resin. Craft resins usually have a 2:1 mixing ratio. The mixing ratio is stated in the epoxy packaging you purchased or in the user manual if it was sent with it. If it says 2:1; For example, if you are going to prepare 30 grams of epoxy, you should mix 20 grams of resin and 10 grams of hardener. Make sure that the precision scale you use has a sensitivity of at least 0.1 gr. Scales with 1 gr precision may cause problems with small scale resin mixtures. After preparing the mixture, you must mix it very well, otherwise you may experience hardening problems. Also, if you are adding epoxy paint, you should not add too much, excessive paint use is one of the factors that prevents hardening. Prepare a resin again by reviewing the factors I have written. If you are doing all of these things correctly then the epoxy resin you purchased may be faulty.
