in the preset file there are lot of effects but an effect file named "hologram look " is not there
Nice video! You should consider uploading this preset to Inscape Digital's Preset Marketplace. I bet Javert would really appreciate it, and I expect that the entire Hitfilm Community would like it also!

The quality could be much more improved!! try to use some 3d models with wireframe!! rather than a noisy 2d image!!
+SK Works Hitfilm Express doesn't support 3D models.
I'm not that good but i think for the hologram, you should have switched the blending mode. The suit at the end wasn't see through or translucent at all. You are able to look a little through it. Please don't take me as a hater.
If I recall correctly, the blending mode didn’t really work for that last one.
Having a problem, I downloaded the thing from mediafire, but its automatically downloading as a Windows media player file. Which when I import into hit film it doesnt support the file type. How do I change this??
Hi, that is a bit weird since the pack doesn't include any videos. Do you have win-rar installed?

Ah, ok. So download it here: www.win-rar.com/predownload.html?&L=0&Version=64bit
Then right click the pack and select "extract here" then you'll get a folder containing the elements :)

Could you do this with a video instead of an image so the video looks like a hologram, for example if you wanted a hologram of a floating head talking
Yes, but the video would have to have no background, as in shot on a green screen

Can you make the awesome Iron man repulsors and flight effects in HitFilm Express? There are many people doing this in hitfilm, but I like your approach better.
Really great stuff man, you deserve way more subscribers!! But i have a tip, or maybe an idea. When adding enviromental color correcting when your hologram pops up, maybe turn it down a little bit. I don't think a hologram would give off that much light to the whole room unless it is dark.

You've done force push now please do force pull. Such as pulling a lightsaber to you after it get knocked away
where to find png without background ,everywhere they have transparent background which kind of not useful
You need a png for this Effect
You could also, if you know how, get a 3D model and turn it in Blender or something else in front of a green screen. Then put the effect on it and it would turn.

hey bro how do you put your media section at the top and get rid of the trimmer?
Just right click the panel you want to get rid of and select float panel. Then just close it from there 👍🏼 if you want to re organize then just drag the panels around

+Channel BiDD that's because it's a preset that I made. So you have to first download and install it before it'll appear in your program

He man in the text doc. you have added that explains how to download/add effects, it says after you found the ' Hitfilm 4 express' folder to add it to the 'Presets' folder but I don't have a presets forlder do you maybe know why?!?
Did you follow all the steps above that? If you did, then you should have the folder. But if it still isn't there then maybe try this:
Open Hitfilm
Right click inside the effects panel and select "import preset"
Find and click the preset

I tried it the in hitfilm way, but now when I go to the folder where I placed the downloaded file it doesn't show up. Is it maybe because when I download it it's a .rar file?
I found the problem thanks, it was that I didn't have winrar. (sorry this was my first time trying this)

+Chinmay Hegde Well, the hologram sounds are from Video Copilots Motion Pulse pack and that's paid so unfortunately I can't give it away. Although I have a tutorial on how to create the Jarvis voice!

Where do you get stock footage? They are really expensive.
+Lil Red well there are plenty of free stock footage sites and some, like VideoBlocks offer subscriptions with which you can download unlimited footage

Hi :] Thank you bro! The download pack is the disk element and preset file. So you will have to unzip the file using WinRar or another program to gain access to the picture and preset :] Hope this was helpful

i downloaded the complete pack with all features
SARCASTIC TUTOR well once the pack is downloaded, you need to unzip the folder, then follow the preset instruction file and install the hologram look preset

Go into hitfilm (the program, not folder)
In the effects tab, right click and select "import preset"
Then navigate to the preset file and select it

You have to install the preset, right click in the effects panel and select import preset

I do not know it downloaded but did not want to load on my computer it said to pay for win zip or something

Once installed, right click the download pack folder and select "Extract Files Here"
Thanks also when you said in the video to change the size of the disk so it does not pop up like some cheap magic it did not work as well
