Hell to the NO! And no one should (especially YT influencers who know better... lookin at you, Michael B, Detroit Love, and OTG!). It's a bad value, and kind of a d*ck move to be hawking these when everyone is feeling left in the cold with their recent Blitz and MvC2 purchases. Everyone who buys one now is just rewarding this behavior and encouraging more cabs priced into the stratosphere. C'mon guys, don't give 'em this.
No I’m tired of buying cabs for them to just be slashed in half within 3-6 months. I’ve lost quite a bit of money doing it and would not do it again. I have the ones I want and prob won’t ever purchase any more
I did, then i canceled because i realized how shady their business tactics are and always half ass their products. One step forward, 2 steps back 🤦♂️ ive spent like 8k on their crap and im done
Seriously a great video. Appreciate your integrity and honesty. I’ve got 12+ of their machines and want a few more but will not buy until they actually stand behind them and deliver what they promised. I’m not paying these prices to help them beta test and to wait for features they advertise on the packaging. I even have ridge racer and t2 and the audio is unacceptable. Keep up the good work PDubs!
This video expresses how I feel 100%. Glad to see a larger contender of the community come out and say something. I ordered MvC2 and am unable to cancel my pre order in canada and bought it solely for the online play. Surprised there isnt a class action suit yet for the false advertising. That being said in Canada, these machines are almost $1000 and I cannot give another dime to a company that just wants to take my money and run.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Best Buy shipped and then I found out about the online. I could return BUT my kids are excited to play...I was looking forward to the online and after buying 14 of their machines already I am in the same boat that I aint spending more until they step up their quality and support for the price
Great video and well said! Sometimes it's important to "vote with your dollars". I didn't buy Blitz, but I did get MVC2 (and no interest in spending 1K on Killer Instinct). Hoping they do get some updates out for MVC2 relatively soon.
Yeah. I’m with you Dubs. I have been for a year now. This year has been a shit storm for them. I’m out and I’m actually thinking about grabbing an iiRcade cab. Thanks for the honesty, as always.
As someone who has never owned an Arcade1up machine, I bit the bullet and bought the Marvel 2 cabinet. It sucks that it didnt come with all the features it was advertised, but I think it is still a solid little machine. Maybe not $600 worth, but definitely in the 400-500 range.
Keep up the great work PDubs - excellent content!! Completely agree with your stance. Held out for the pro because of the whole marketing snafu, purchased the standard KI for $400 recently and added new sticks and speakers. The vision of the Pro is hopefully the future of this company, but its execution is not trustworthy after all the issues this year. T2 was a dream cab for me and audio issues / tearing on T2 emulation spoiled that experience. Because of this, I too am hesitant to purchase new products from Arcade1up until they resolve their issues and instill trust in our community. Hopefully this year’s problems get resolved quickly and the company improves consumer confidence moving forward. Love the company and hope they overcome this hurdle so I can continue to fill my arcade.
I picked up the KI-3/4 because I actually like the risers. When it comes to moving these cabinets breaking the unit down into more manageable pieces helps a lot. The stock joysticks have deteriorated over time but those are cheap enough to upgrade. As for MvC2, I have opted to pass because there are too many issues surrounding the emulation. I've still got my DC version though so no worries.
You are totally on point. The latest cab I purchased from them is the Dig Dug Namco Legacy. I’ve had to replace the monitor and the marquee just to get it to acceptable standards. Not to mention buttons. We can only hope Arcade1up listens and gets better rather than defensive.
Love the honest reviews you always do a great job. I will not be buying anymore 1Up cabs for a while. Too many issues, fake fomo, and not enough care from them this year. Will probably mod one of my offline 1Ups with a ton of games.
Great points. My Marvel cab is still in the box due to all of the issues with it and I’ve had it for over a week. If nothing is fixed before thanksgiving, it’s likely going back.
I honestly lost faith with the company around the Covid surge. They raised the prices and said it was due to lumber cost skyrocketing, and it was very true that lumber was extremely expensive for a time. They said the increase was forced upon them if they wanted to still produce products but now those prices have never went back down from the lumber shortage pricing. I knew the new pricing was here to stay and I also called it that the quality control would take a MAJOR dip. I wouldn’t mind paying 400 bucks for a cab and a riser but I can’t see the value at 500 and above.
A lot of scummy companies took advantage of the "our priced going up because of covid". And once they raised their prices, they never went back down so they can still have that excuse
Appreciate the honesty. I don’t really care about online play personally (I’ve rarely used it on the cabs I have that support it), but you’re of course correct that they shouldn’t be launching new products before they are delivering on the features they’ve advertised on existing products. Let’s all hope they can right the ship
Great video! Totally agree with your thoughts. I have bought 10 cabs over the last 1.5 years and will NOT buy any more until there is more transparency and accountability from A1Up!
Love the stance PDubs! The only good thing to come out of that announcement was the awesome price of the 3/4th scale so I couldn’t resist. Glad i waited.
Man I can't blame you PDubs .. I reserved the first wave of MVC2 from arcade 1up direct and still no word. I wanted the ki pro bad butt in not purchasing nothing else from them until they fix all that is wrong with the recently released cabs
Powerful words! I am still shocked they pushed out product that was not complete. I have not bought NFL Blitz yet, but I am dying to get it.... just a mater of if it gets fixed or they reflect the price accordingly. No intention of buying KI PRO, 1) not a fan of that game 2) if im spending that kind of money it will be for a very specific control set ( Driver, Flight, Gun etc). ALSO you would think they make the PRO line buying experience out of this world. Like when you place your pre order, you get an email asking what character you would like on your tin sign, or what tmolding color you want etc etc.
Great opening PDubs. I have the original 3/4 KI. I put IL sticks and Happ buttons, speakers, light up coin buttons, new marquee. I basically have a pro. No need to get this one. I’m very hesitant about buying anything else from them in the future because of the latest fiasco’s. Just be open and just be honest. That’s it. Communicate with us. A perfect way to handle your company is do what Iircade does. Jong is the best CEO out there and understands the importance of his consumers (family).
Pdubs, I'm a huge supporter of your channel, so something I have to share about this made me laugh hysterically...when you said you were done...all I could think of was that scene in Star Trek First Contact with Picard making "this is where we draw the line...no further speech!!!" 😂
Great video, I share your sentiments. MK 30th was the cab that really disappointed me, with that pathetic monitor and the block button mis-color. That was so amateur on their part and really has me questioning whether they give a darn about product quality anymore. Where's the T2 performance patch. Oh right, that's probably shelved as all focus is on fixing promised features for MvC2 and Blitz now. I'm not interested in Killer Instinct Pro, but may pick up the 3/4 scale KI at some point.
I bought the 40th anniversary Ms. PAC-Man and the audio jack on the PBC has a lot of background noise, so I can’t connect pc speakers. Instead, I had to use the headphone jack in the front by running a long audio wire. I tried different speakers, different wires and the problem persists.
It’s going to take a lot more effort on their part for them to get any more of my money. That’s not a bad thing, I’m totally happy with the eight that I have. That’s a full boat for me, as I’m an eighties kid, and have no FOMO for the recent releases. Feeling it more for the NWT product line actually.
I also agree with your stance. The only way they will truly listen is if we speak with our wallets. I’ve got 6 of their products, and would’ve bought more but with all the recent issues on every single cab, except Defender Partycade, I’m not interested in anything from them until they fix their broken business model.
The puppet intro had me dying laughing! 😆. Great video Pdubs. I’m not buying Pro KI and I didn’t buy Blitz or MVC2. I hope 1up can pull this off and do better as I’m a fan of their products. 👍🏻
Respect to those that wanted and got the Pro, mvc2 and Blitz. For me it’s comes down to not believing in them right now. Had 3 cabs outta the last 4 (not including the Defender partycade) that had problems culminating with GT3D. I could live with the monitor but the botched firmware update and 2 trackballs going tits up in a month was the end. Only bought ridge racer since, as it was 399 and hasn’t had problems thankfully. Wanted Blitz more to an anything but was cautious as I don’t fomo for these things. And glad I’ve held off. How they’re ok with releasing 2 of the biggest titles knowing the sh*t isn’t right, or even just saying something as they’re going on multiple channels preaching preorders is bs. Sorry I’m carrying on….just feel that as like you and many others, we are paying customers (and repeat ones many times over), we deserve better. As for the Pro, it would have to be a mighty special title to get me to cough up $1000 for one. Apologies again for long windedness lol.
I love the product. I love the look. I love how they play for the most part - what I don't love is the miscommunication or simple lack of communication the company gives us. For something of this cost you owe it to the consumers to be transparent. Laughing at the chat - being noncommittal on any type of time line and showing a general disdain for their community is hard to see. The litany of mistakes that have been made in 2022 boggle the mind. Yet, I still find myself following all the news, still find myself excitedly assembling my MvC2 and still find myself extremely excited for something like a Time Crises 2. It's what makes these repeated errors so impossible to understand and frustrating to continue to have to deal with. I want them to do well so badly. We will have to see what 2023 brings. Can't be any worse from certain standpoints than 2022.
Very well said. I've been saying this for years too. A1up has been doing this for 3+ years, and they still can't get their shit together. If it isn't one thing, it's another. Speakergate...monitorgate...bugs...control panel sunk too low with respect to side panel... the list goes on and on. And not to mention how they keep recycling the same ol' games into new cabinets (Pacman anyone?) making minor changes but no real improvements. I wish more people would think like you and stop supporting A1up. If their revenue stream decreased, they might actually give a damn, slow down and make better cabinets.
Honestly, I'm happy with my ALU. I am a big fan of cabinets from A1UP that have great artwork and a great lineup of games, but this past year I have just been, "meh". I've been underwhelmed. So I won't be buying another A1UP unless a huge announcement of something I'm looking for is made (ahem: Robotron).
Great video! Are you going to make more content for your other DUB ZONE channel? I will not being getting this. They've lost all my confidence in them regarding lack of quality and communication.
I tried. Waited as long as I could but the sales for the base model got to me first and honestly thought the product would never come with NO COMMUNICATION for months from Arcade 1up. Not even the mention of a price tag from 1UP! They promised this thing so long ago that I figured they just gave up. Now I have to spend the money I would have happily paid to mod this thing. Don’t get me started on the quality control and outrageous pricing.
As a first time buyer i bought the NFL blitz one being a huge fan of blitz back in the day and a big NFL fan. I was hoping the online would be ready last month. I can say I am a little disappointed even though i am still having fun with the cabinet.
PDubs I totally agree with your position. For me the Pro Series looks great but at a $1000 price point I would only buy for games that really tug at my heart strings. Killer instinct isn't one of those for me personally.
Good points made. Arcade1up seems to be going backwards. They are becoming the Apple, Inc.( I own iPhone) of home arcades: “take whatever we offer then buy the next thing we offer”. Keep doing your thing Pdubs..I think you have been fair and honest across all systems.
I finally got a 1up, Atari Tempest, that cab is pretty sweet, but I play my iiRcade way more. Figure I'll get an AtGames pinball next and call it a day. I feel for most people that can't afford a whole arcade, iiRcade is the way to go
1000% agree! Especially after 30 cabs, I totally understand. They’ve been releasing spotty product since day one honestly and I’d expect more from them by now. The only way to make them more accountable is to stop giving them money. Point. Blank. Period.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Why rush it lol. I still have mine boxed up from Sam’s Club. Im more about the look of the arcade and yes online play is a bonus and if it doesn’t work well I don’t know. Guess will still keep it.
Thanks Pdubs. I said exactly the same thing. It’s greed at its worst to push a 1k product out when you have so many with so much lacking or issues. I’m out until they come around.
I think that is a totally fair request. Why should you part with your hard earned money when the product is not as good as the company knows it could be. They need to go back to basics, Test everything both in isolation and in a fully assembled Final Cabinet. Yes it will take them longer to release products but the products will be of better quality and that will equate to more sales and less returns. Great video man!
I'm not buying more Arcade1up cabs mostly because of space, but also nothing really speaks to me. Daytona I might grab when it comes out, but even then that's not a definite. But the lack of support definitely wouldn't help if I was on the edge of any of their newer cabs.
I honestly do not need a bigger arcade. I have KI 3/4ths cab and it does what I need from it. I would prefer more titles than bigger cabs, though- Qbert, Indian Jones, Spy Hunter, Road Blasters, House of the Dead. I think house of the dead would need a bigger screen/cab...
I agree, I’ve been very hesitant to buy new cabinets because of arcade1up‘s reputation about quality control. I came very close to pulling the trigger on Tron until I saw all the reviews about the joystick breaking so easily and I thought it was ridiculous that after customers paying $700 for that cabinet they can’t even get the joystick to perform correctly. Star Wars has held up well for me as have defender cabinet and tempest. but those were all cheaper cabinets and had more games per cabinet, seems like they are decreasing the number of games per cabinet but increasing the price.
I play my Tron a lot n have not had joystick issue . Knock on wood Spinner was broken on arrival but only up down function Took me months to get to that level n figure it out n warranty was over but 1up still sent me new one n they sent me new marvel pinball pcb after a year With that being said These things shouldn’t die after a year but they do have a lifespan Everything does unfortunately I’m shocked more Star Wars yikes haven’t broken off . Mine feels like it will at any time . Sometimes there’s a loud click or something
Great video, dude! I am NOT interested in the Pro line or XL line. I like the 3/4 and partycades more for a number of reasons. I am glad they are coming out with the lines, just not for me. If MichaelB wants to hand over his 3/4 diva crown, let me know. 😂😂😂
I mean, after I bought my modded Golden Tee XL from someone not long ago, and seeing how impressive it looked compared to the other cabs I owned, I said I wouldn't buy any non-XL/Pro cabs from anyone going forward. So...I bought KI. But unless they make more, it may very well be the last cab I ever buy. We'll see I guess, but I can’t imagine KI will be the very last one. Totally understand people sticking with their morals though. Honestly, I'm surprised we haven't seen a lawsuit yet, but maybe once the year rolls around and online isn't in both Blitz and MVC2 yet...I'd be sweating bullets if I were A1U. 🤷♀️
100% facts. The simple fact that I pre-ordered my mvc2 day 1 on 9/8. It is now 11/3/22 and still haven't received my pre-order. 600$ for something that I haven't even seen or touched!! Definitely never buying from them directly again. 😑😑
Is it just me or is only there “ ambassadors” who revived free Merchandise are the only ones who seem to be singing the praises all of us who actually buy these cabinets are the only ones giving honest opinions
Yeah I was confused on why they decided to launch the new another model after they have failed to give us a good xl model and mvc2 and blitz are all riddled with problems. And then Use the same scare tactic.
Arcade1UPS are low end products that are now being sold at a high end price tag! They were an ok offering back when your options were an Arcade1up for $399 or a fuill size from a custom shop for $3500 but ther eare way better options out there now and they haven't upped their game to compete against other offerings!
I only bought one cabinet this year, that was Dragon's Lair. I haven't discovered audio issues because I'm not good enough to ever pass a stage. I own a total of 13 cabinets and are happy with them. But as for the future, they have released nothing I wanted this year, and the only thing on the back burner that I am aware of that I have any interest in is that Time Crisis. But I won't touch that until it is out in the wild. Heck, I wish they would release that Galaga 40th partycade lineup on a 3/4 cabinet. But none of that matters. Arcade 1up cannot be trusted to make a cabinet that actually works as advertised. No more pre-ordering, and no purchasing until the units are out and have been reviewed and proved to work. Their word means less than nothing right now. They are pulling the deaf, dumb, and blind routine when it comes to the two biggest hyped cabinets of the year. NFL Blitz and MvC2 were the big ones, and they couldn't have flubbed these release any more if they had tried. They have a long way to go before they earn my trust back if they ever want another dollar from me.
I am shocked. Really I am. They kept the promise to deliver this Killer Instinct Pro system. Sure I understand they messed up with MVC 2 and Blitz but are fixing the issues with them and improving on the machines. They are updating the Firmware just give them time. I believe the company just wanted to get the products out before the big Christmas push which is happening now. Who knows, maybe they are having issues with getting materials. I know at my Retail work we have problems getting certain things and have had stuff not arrive like this store usually does. Meaning we had stuff not be on the shelves for 2-3 days which at the store I have been working at for way too long. Have not had happen Ever... I hope you can talk to John and the Team and work something out. Anyways still hope we can hang out sometime or share stories. But yeah I love collecting original hardware too and Rare Arcade machines.
I don't talk to them and make it a point not to. I'll let them do that with other youtubers. All I said is...until they fix these products in circulation I'm not buying anything else. They need to make things right.
Any company rushing to get bad product to market before a buying season can just as quickly kill momentum and brand loyalty it took years to build up. They’d do themselves a huge favor if their leadership came out and said that they were holding off to make existing products right. And why haven’t we seen other C level leadership yet?? Why let marketing and a VP/SVP take the helm during a crisis? And this IS a crisis.
@@RafConUSMC They did from what I saw in the KI pro video. John d seemed not happy. So guess will see, again this sometimes happens when a company gets too big and hires new people who end up dropping the ball. Again stuff happens at my work all the time. The good people leave and the new people don't know how to order things or don't take quality control seriously until they are fired or replaced.
@@dragongamer2670 I’m talking about Scott Bachrach (CEO) or Tom Lyons (CMO) or Davin Sufer (CTO) just to name a few. John D is an SVP but there are much higher people than him who are sitting idle and quiet.
Im only buying XL from here on out. If they dont make anymore, I wont buy anymore. But this is only based on pricing also. $500 per cab is my max. Otherwise I will build my own cabs.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Want the bigger cabs, pro's are not worth what they want. I also want the UI to go back to like the Legacy cabs. My kids keep getting lost in "online" or "settings". Blah Blah Blah. My time right now is spent building a full size Vpin, way more fun.
I completely understand and stand by you. As for myself I don’t care for the Pro. I don’t like the price and I like the the 3/4 form factor and I think the risers are cool. I’m not interested in Blitz so I don’t feel the need to talk about it. I did buy MvC2 and I love it. I play with my kids or by myself, so I don’t really care about online. The sound has turned off on me a couple of times. I don’t love that, but I’m confident they will patch it. As for new cabs the only other one I still want would be Golden Tee, but not at $699. If it drops to $399 I’ll pick it up. All that being said, if they rerelease Star Wars I’ll buy it in a second. They’ve already proved they got it perfect the first time.
I got the 3/4 1. Because they reduced the price to 399. 2. They really didn't add anything that me me want to spend $1000 more just for a taller cab with same quality. I rather spend the 399 and make that one better for less then the cost of a pro
@@PDubsArcadeLoft yep I was happy I was on the fence and waiting for the pro and then they discounted it to the point that it made worth buying the lower one
Cause you're smarter than the other YTs 😉 In contrast, I think Mikey B might have had his brain slightly frozen in Saskatoon. It's Fn cold there in the winter!!
They knew people were upset over blitz missing its key feature and still released mvc2 weeks later missing that exact same key feature, that's a back to back mistake. The fact they unveiled a $1000 pro cabinet and started taking orders is just throwing gas on an already lit fire. The market needs another competitor that can compete on the same level with licensing popular titles.
Remember that they started slipping with those horrible monitors, the recent horrible speakers and audio issues, the pre-order debacle and blaming retailers for releasing their products early (before direct preorders) and then not delivering advertised services and features on two highly anticipated and marketed cabs. Fool me once… fool me twice… three times… four times….
$999 no go unless they outline the exact products used … stick type monitor type etc but to me $800 is my limit at $1k you can basically almost buy the real thing … Im out on all future releases due to their deceptive sales tactics… unless they do right by people
I will not be buying blitz, MVC2, and especially not buying the KI Pro. They want us to drop $1000 on their new cab after just botching the last two?? Nah I’m good. I have never and will never pre order from 1up
The form factor of the pro is horrible and doesn't match the rest of the collection. And MvC2 has major latency issues, multiplayer issues ... A1Up is doing $300 off on cabs when they are only a few months old. There's NO reason to buy day 1. I may pick up MvC2 for $300 at some point, but honestly, I may still just hang on to my XvSF cab since I love it. But I don't see my A1Up collection growing anytime soon. The only exceptions would be Primal Rage and Splatterhouse.
There all about smoke and mirrors. They promise updates, better parts, and fail to deliver. It would be different if the quality, reliability and brand integrity had increased with the price jumps. Now we are taking a gamble if we buy a game from them. Did they pull a switcharoo and use the crap monitors, are there bugs, do they have replacement parts in stock? The thing that really burned my ass was the tron sticks breaking. The had to have known they would break given the way they were made with out reinforced plastic on the shafts. There magic fix was to send out the same defective sticks. They should have put out a message saying "hey were sorry we messed up. Were manufacturing new sticks that are made properly and wont break" But nope...they just keep selling them. Integrity is very important i feel that they really dont have any. I only buy a cab from them when walmart drops them as low as i feel they'll go. 400 is the sweet spot. I don't know if those sales hurt 1up but in a way i sort of hope they do.
It's not only the issues with Arcade 1UP but with the price of gas and food and just living today. I can't trust Arcade 1Up until I see the issues of their new cabs.
MvC2 was not worth the 600$ maybe worth 300$ but certainly not the asking price, buttons are loose, joy stick starts making a knocking noise after a while of gameplay, hissing from the speakers etc... defiantly not worth the price
As a fairly small channel, you can’t go out & buy everything that comes out. If you did that, you’d be broke in a few months. Stick with what you like and have room for, that’s enough.
They can't even be trusted to ship the same thing they show in their promotional materials and they expect us to pre-order them when they have already established a reputation for poor product support and the inclusion of crap hardware in so-called "Legacy" and anniversary cabinets. Even their "Pro" units don't have pro features like real t-molding and polycarbonate control panel overlays, real coin doors, etc, because that would cut into their replacement shatter panels side-business. They just keep shoving the same handful of games at us, remixed, and each time they seem to promise it will be the best version of cabinet X yet but then they go back to crap displays and their bad old ways. And when you have valid complaints as a customer, John D is there to mock you for it, presumably because he's got a list of obsequious youtubers as long as Big Blue is tall, willing to gloss over the glaring issues on every cabinet he's got planned, just as they have for the ones we've seen so far.
iiRcade is still pissing me off they dropped the ball and whatever else you can drop to mess things up.. I see these games for Halloween playing in the back ground of my iiRcade and they havent even been released not saying they are nay good but why not release that during the right time... The Dumb is Strong with these guys... All we here about is Bangers coming up... Do they know what a banger even is?
What games on the attract mode? I didn't notice anything. Yes they haven't released the Bangers they promised there will be a separate year in Review video covering that topic.

I agree - i said it last year that the prices would never go down and that was all a farce.
A lot of scummy companies took advantage of the "our priced going up because of covid". And once they raised their prices, they never went back down so they can still have that excuse
Come now, what company ever brings prices back down once it raises it and it has garnered acceptance by the consumer?
Appreciate the honesty. I don’t really care about online play personally (I’ve rarely used it on the cabs I have that support it), but you’re of course correct that they shouldn’t be launching new products before they are delivering on the features they’ve advertised on existing products. Let’s all hope they can right the ship
I'm not done with them completely (yet) but I'm definitely on a purchase strike until they fix what has been released.
Great video! Totally agree with your thoughts. I have bought 10 cabs over the last 1.5 years and will NOT buy any more until there is more transparency and accountability from A1Up!
Thank you
Love the stance PDubs! The only good thing to come out of that announcement was the awesome price of the 3/4th scale so I couldn’t resist. Glad i waited.
I have to admit...thats a decent price
Man I can't blame you PDubs .. I reserved the first wave of MVC2 from arcade 1up direct and still no word. I wanted the ki pro bad butt in not purchasing nothing else from them until they fix all that is wrong with the recently released cabs
Maybe they are holding them until the firmware is ready
@@PDubsArcadeLoft very true
Thanks guy for the very honest video. I wish more you tubers were like you. Who in their right mind would pay $1000 for an Arcade 1up?
Great feedback here Nick thank you
Great opening PDubs.
Thanks Jolly..with your upgrades you have a pro already!
Pdubs, I'm a huge supporter of your channel, so something I have to share about this made me laugh hysterically...when you said you were done...all I could think of was that scene in Star Trek First Contact with Picard making "this is where we draw the line...no further speech!!!" 😂
Lol the damn Borg kept pushing us back
Great video, I share your sentiments.
Appreciate the input Darth!
Love the NWT stuff - never been unhappy so far.
I also agree with your stance. The only way they will truly listen is if we speak with our wallets. I’ve got 6 of their products, and would’ve bought more but with all the recent issues on every single cab, except Defender Partycade, I’m not interested in anything from them until they fix their broken business model.
It's the only way to hold them accountable.
The puppet intro had me dying laughing! 😆. Great video Pdubs. I’m not buying Pro KI and I didn’t buy Blitz or MVC2. I hope 1up can pull this off and do better as I’m a fan of their products. 👍🏻
I'm glad you like the puppets lol
No apologies needed I enjoyed reading this thank you
I wish more people would take a stance on this issue of half baked products. That's why I enjoy your channel because you tell it like it is.
Thanks Brother! 👊
LOL, love my Buck Hunter World. Bucky girls rock! Also like there's no blood and shows green pegs where the hits were.
Big Buck girls were hot
Sounds like we both need to join Arcades Anonymous
@@PDubsArcadeLoft I fear that maybe true. LOL.
The only way to hold them accountable is with your wallet
Yeah, that was pretty rough when he said work on your offline "training" until we get the online going.
lol well I mean...I appreciate some humor brought in to add some levity to situations - I used a puppet in this video for example
Good job!
Being real is 💯 the most important to this community.
I try my best
Imagine if NewWaveToys put out a 3/4 scale line of cabinets....
wouldn't that be glorious
Hey have you tried the steam deck yet on the intec switch pinball deck
Not yet hopefully tonight
@@PDubsArcadeLoft I ended up ordering one and it would be killer if the steam deck could connect to it.
100% right, Pdubs... totally dropped the ball on this one. And here we are again, with nothing but the sound of crickets.
Chirp chirp Mindermann!
I like you PDubs…your a stand up guy
Thank you
Good for you for making a stand on your beliefs
The only way to hold a company accountable is with your wallet and opinion
Honestly, I'm happy with my ALU. I am a big fan of cabinets from A1UP that have great artwork and a great lineup of games, but this past year I have just been, "meh". I've been underwhelmed. So I won't be buying another A1UP unless a huge announcement of something I'm looking for is made (ahem: Robotron).
Robotron needs to happen.
Great video! Are you going to make more content for your other DUB ZONE channel? I will not being getting this. They've lost all my confidence in them regarding lack of quality and communication.
Yes I'm getting caught up here and will put some stuff there
Great feedback, thank you
As a first time buyer i bought the NFL blitz one being a huge fan of blitz back in the day and a big NFL fan.
Thanks John and that's a good way to Loom at it in my opinion
Does arcade one up have frogger
yes they released a 3/4 scale one and a countercade last year
Good points made. Arcade1up seems to be going backwards. They are becoming the Apple, Inc.( I own iPhone) of home arcades: “take whatever we offer then buy the next thing we offer”. Keep doing your thing Pdubs..I think you have been fair and honest across all systems.
I appreciate the critique!
The new KI costs as much as some iphones, but I bought it anyway.
@@robkrasinski6217 hope you enjoy it my dude
I appreciate you Pdubs.
Well...I appreciate you!
Not to mention any real MVC2 fan has to gut the cabinet and replace the buttons, joystick, and monitor to make it playable
True
I finally got a 1up, Atari Tempest, that cab is pretty sweet, but I play my iiRcade way more.
Figure I'll get an AtGames pinball next and call it a day. I feel for most people that can't afford a whole arcade, iiRcade is the way to go
Plenty of multicade options out there.
Well said for real. It’s unfortunate but it’s the truth.
Agreed 👍
2022 missteps - you forgot to mention the crappy non-BOE monitors that put in several cabinets...such as Centipede, Dig Dug, Golden Tee, etc.
Well John D did shout me out on the stream too...
I hope he said something nice
1000% agree! Especially after 30 cabs, I totally understand. They’ve been releasing spotty product since day one honestly and I’d expect more from them by now. The only way to make them more accountable is to stop giving them money. Point. Blank. Period.
Is the online play still down for NFL blitz?
Lol it was never "up"
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Why rush it lol.
They need to step it up. $600 price tag they can't just let things go
I honestly do not need a bigger arcade. I have KI 3/4ths cab and it does what I need from it. I would prefer more titles than bigger cabs, though- Qbert, Indian Jones, Spy Hunter, Road Blasters, House of the Dead. I think house of the dead would need a bigger screen/cab...
Where are all the new games??
I agree, I’ve been very hesitant to buy new cabinets because of arcade1up‘s reputation about quality control. I came very close to pulling the trigger on Tron until I saw all the reviews about the joystick breaking so easily and I thought it was ridiculous that after customers paying $700 for that cabinet they can’t even get the joystick to perform correctly. Star Wars has held up well for me as have defender cabinet and tempest. but those were all cheaper cabinets and had more games per cabinet, seems like they are decreasing the number of games per cabinet but increasing the price.
Less games higher prices...agreed
I play my Tron a lot n have not had joystick issue . Knock on wood
Spinner was broken on arrival but only up down function
Took me months to get to that level n figure it out n warranty was over but 1up still sent me new one n they sent me new marvel pinball pcb after a year
With that being said
These things shouldn’t die after a year but they do have a lifespan
Everything does unfortunately
I’m shocked more Star Wars yikes haven’t broken off .
Lol you are now the Diva! He's only into the big boy stuff
Dragons lair sound and Tempest Asteroids sounds needs update..
100% facts. The simple fact that I pre-ordered my mvc2 day 1 on 9/8. It is now 11/3/22 and still haven't received my pre-order. 600$ for something that I haven't even seen or touched!! Definitely never buying from them directly again. 😑😑
Thanks for speaking up and out.
Is it just me or is only there “ ambassadors” who revived free Merchandise are the only ones who seem to be singing the praises all of us who actually buy these cabinets are the only ones giving honest opinions
Word
A1U paid Justin Wong to praise the MVC2 cab, then to release a sub-par cab seemed shady as hell.
His name is Justin "Wrong" to me.
I don't see $1000 in value with the pro. Maybe I'm missing something
pdubs, all those 1ups could have got you plenty of Qbert arcades and elvira pinballs
I could sell everything I have and buy at least 2 quality machines...don't tempt me
I only bought one cabinet this year, that was Dragon's Lair.
Just based on what I have seen this year, I won't preorder again without seeing improvement from the company.
Never hurts to wait, don't need to be first.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Totally agree with you! I am sure they will as they don't want other Arcade companies to be angry with them.
Go Big or Go Home?
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Want the bigger cabs, pro's are not worth what they want. I also want the UI to go back to like the Legacy cabs. My kids keep getting lost in "online" or "settings". Blah Blah Blah. My time right now is spent building a full size Vpin, way more fun.
Agree with you 100% And no I did not buy Killer Instinct Pro!👍
Appreciate it!
Don’t want their pro cabs unless their control panels have actual decent spacing between players.
I picked up Golden Tee when it dropped on Amazon to 499 but that only lasted a few hours.
Appreciate the feedback!

Bro the puppet gimmick is pure gold. In a few yrs pdubs is gonna be a kids channel with puppets lol
Lol thanks man
I got the 3/4 1. Because they reduced the price to 399. 2. They really didn't add anything that me me want to spend $1000 more just for a taller cab with same quality. I rather spend the 399 and make that one better for less then the cost of a pro
What a weird move to discount the smaller one at the same time...
@@PDubsArcadeLoft yep I was happy I was on the fence and waiting for the pro and then they discounted it to the point that it made worth buying the lower one
What if they release a Q*bert.
Until these cabs are fixed - I'm on strike. I will not buy anything else from Arcade1Up
Cause you're smarter than the other YTs 😉 In contrast, I think Mikey B might have had his brain slightly frozen in Saskatoon. It's Fn cold there in the winter!!
It's the Candian water...somethings in it
So you're telling me instead of buying an MK 30th when it's $300 to just buy a costco cab and mod it? Got it!
lol maybe
Agree. I just bought 3/4 for 399!!!
you saved $600!
Here’s why:
Capcom Vs SNK 1 &2 had the better gameplay & character balance 💫
$999 no go unless they outline the exact products used … stick type monitor type etc but to me $800 is my limit at $1k you can basically almost buy the real thing … Im out on all future releases due to their deceptive sales tactics… unless they do right by people
Agreed...is there an amp powering these Yamaha speakers, etc
I’m right there with you.
How dare you speak against the brand! Don't question, just consume product.🦊👊
Lol I will not conform
I will not be buying blitz, MVC2, and especially not buying the KI Pro. They want us to drop $1000 on their new cab after just botching the last two?? Nah I’m good. I have never and will never pre order from 1up
Not a good lead in to the pro (botched prior releases)
Well said bro
The form factor of the pro is horrible and doesn't match the rest of the collection. And MvC2 has major latency issues, multiplayer issues ... A1Up is doing $300 off on cabs when they are only a few months old. There's NO reason to buy day 1. I may pick up MvC2 for $300 at some point, but honestly, I may still just hang on to my XvSF cab since I love it. But I don't see my A1Up collection growing anytime soon. The only exceptions would be Primal Rage and Splatterhouse.
Thanks for the feedback my dude
Probably should just stop releasing cabinets until there is comprehensive plan to fix firmware issues as well as online play
Cos your name isn't Michael B? :D
LOL MichaelB is a funny guy.
He has got to shill for his boy Johnny D
It's not only the issues with Arcade 1UP but with the price of gas and food and just living today. I can't trust Arcade 1Up until I see the issues of their new cabs.
MvC2 was not worth the 600$ maybe worth 300$ but certainly not the asking price, buttons are loose, joy stick starts making a knocking noise after a while of gameplay, hissing from the speakers etc... defiantly not worth the price
Oh wow first I heard of the hissing
Yeah they shouldn't have been making jokes on that livestream
Its sad but we all know that most every business decision is made with the almighty dollar as the key driver.
iiRcade is still pissing me off they dropped the ball and whatever else you can drop to mess things up..
Killer Instinct ?? not worth it to buy they sell 600 the same price at marvel vs capcom 2 lol
Should've been a brand new title as their first Pro
