The Dual Rectifier in Helix is not bad sounding, but it's a bit basic sounding. All of Line6's amp sims have a certain sound that makes them a bit unremarkable, but also perfectly usable. They will work just as well in a mix as recording with the real counterparts, but playing guitar through Helix has a bit of an anemic feeling. The Rectifier amps are some of the most difficult to get right though. My absolute favorite one is the Dual Rectifier in AmpBox by Mercuriall. There are a ton of great Dual Rectifier captures for NAM as well, but they don't give you as much freedom to dial things in yourself (at least not right now, but it's just a matter of time before someone creates a fully parametric model of a Dual Recto for NAM).

Always had trouble with it. Most amps in the Helix sounds amazing to me.
      Solved it tho 😂

I can't not use the Horizon Drive since it got added. Way more tone options and a free gate. I didn't find the Recto model to be usable as well compared to the Fatality and Badonk (recto based). As for the EQ I stopped using the 10 band and started using Sadites low/high shelf method. Good tone, but they still need to rework this model or add a variation like a Triple or Rev G or better yet Badlander model.

I agree, I tend to use it a lot too. However, the Plooms model is amazing too! It killed the TS for me.
I am not familiar with the method you mention. Can you point me to the video?
      A Rev G would be sick! 🔥

@@Komposition101 I like the Plumes for gritty stoner tones or a raunchy boosted British amp. Tight high gain is Precision Drive or Timmy usually.
