I got the same nails after seeing your this video.. But they have not came with the glue.. What should I use to stick these tips? Can I use Base coat of gel nail to stick these nails??
Gorgeous mani. I’ve tried using tips so many times. I have very flat nails and the tips always want to point up making this weird v shape. This video is making me want to try them one more time. 💙
i loveee your videos, i’ve been doing my nails since high school however i have hardly gotten any better 😂 im mainly having trouble with building up right where my natural nail and tip meet, idk why but it seems like there’s always a slight dip in my nail and whenever i try to bulk it up then it’s just uneven all over 💀
Hi:) I have two questions 1. Do you cure 30-60 secs after each builder gel coat or do you apply each layer straight over the other and then cure? 2. I have full coverage fake nails. Do i need to apply all over them dehydrator and primer before the builder gel?
hello! 1. i usually do a flash cure of 5-10 seconds after each nail to make sure the product stays in place, and then after all 5 nails are complete i will do a full 30-60 second cure depending on the product requirements. 2. if you are using full coverage tips, there is no need to dehydrate or prime the surface of the tip. only the natural nail!
You are so talented! I'm still practicing. I have a question, after you cured all the builder gel and wiped the sticky coat off. For filing the shape of the nail to make it more smooth did you use a hand file or e file? I get confused sometimes when it's best to use each one.
Just wondering if you can advise, I have a builder gel from sol dips but it is very very thick and kinda hard to work with. I was thinking of putting a little of the gel thinner from sparkle and co, what do you think?
With these tips, I notice they they kinda angle upwards and not flat with my nail. It looks like that happened with your pinky. How do you fix it? Just file the tops so it 'looks' more flat?
hi! yes, i did notice that as well. i find it was the angle i applied it due to a camera being in my way but the shape of the natural nail can also cause that. you can add more dip product to sort of even out the angle, or when applying try to angle the tip downwards more.
Hi Kate! Thank you so much for a less complicated way to apply tips and builder gel. Plus I like how you achieved the almond shape! 💅🏾😊 I felt overwhelmed with other videos I saw on UA-cam. Way too many steps and products. The only thing I wondered is it okay to just use a file instead of an electric file to blend tips ? I am worried about damaging my real nails. This is a new solution for me because I would wear KISS full cover nails due to no other brand offering a size zero that fits my thumbs. Do you think the 0 in the tips you use run a bit bigger? Thanks
Love this DIY!! Obsessed with the nail color on you.
Very pretty! I love them 💜💜
I would do 2 1 more coat of builder gel especially on the apex part
Do you cure after each layer or wait till all layers are complete then cure? I have always been confused about that.

i would recommend purchasing a specific nail glue, otherwise you can use dip base liquid!
Hi Kate, your nail designs are so beautiful! Would you like to collab with us and review our products? ❤️

thank you so much for making this video!!! This really helped my confusion about builder gel and ways to use it! They look beautiful 😍
will you add a video of how to remove these
Hi! The easiest way to remove would be to soak off. I recommend filing off majority of the product, and then soaking in pure acetone!

Beautiful Kate! I remember the other Madam Glam builder gel, I’m still in love with that builder gel till this day!!!

i usually use a hand file because that’s what i am most comfortable with!
Would you recommend biab and these tips for very short nails?
yes! however, it can be difficult to get the nails to adhere properly and last on extremely short nails.

hi! i’m not sure how that would work as i’ve never used either of those products. maybe you could use a small amount to test it?
Beautiful manicure. Do you flash cure after each finger when applying the gel polish to prevent flooding your nails?
i don’t with the gel polish, only the builder gel!
Beautiful as always!!
Beautiful 💕
How long did this application last you
i would say a solid 2.5-3 weeks!
