Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

David was fun and eccentric, one of a kind guy - and loved by so many people he played with. His steel guitar work is legendary.

David was wonderful & so fun to see live! His live performance of Mercury Blues w/ El Rayo-X is a must see. Watching his fingers dance over that lap steel is mesmerizing!

As I've said David Lindley is the most underrated guitarist in history.
He's Jackson Browne's lead guitar player. He kills it on slide. Gives Jackson B his sound.
This got some airplay. It's not that obscure.
    RIP David

Got to see David Lindley a few times with Jackson Browne. Dude could play just about any stringed instrument, both beautifully and with a truly unique style. When it was his turn to solo, he'd play it differently each time just based on the moment. He had a number of solo albums, with originals and covers. A true original - glad you gave him a shot!

Used to dance to this at the club. Fun, high energy, perfect for 1981! Great version by a great artist. Thanks for reacting to it!

I first heard this song by the Steve Miller Band in the 70s. Both that and this are great covers of a golden oldie.

David Lindley came out of a band in the late 1960's called Kaleidoscope. An
    all around great musician.

David Lindley had his own band, El Rayo-X, when he wasn't playing with Jackson Browne. As you said, this song was from the late 40's. It was covered even earlier by the Steve Miller Band on the "Fly Like An Eagle" album, with a different take on it. Much slower, and probably closer to the original, which I have never heard. One of my favorite Steve Miller songs, seen him two or three times.

I saw El Rayo-X open up for Jackson Browne. David had double duty on that tour.

Agree that David Lindley is criminally underrated.
He could play anything with strings.
Check out more if his work, you won't be disappointed.
Unfortunately, he passed away in March of this year.

Got the album, and four others too. 😁
And since you're diving into artists seldom reacted to...Sonny Landreth is worth a dip.

Jeez... showing my age here🧐 Nobody even mentioned Kaleidoscope, the band who Lindley started out with. They were an eclectic mix of folk/Eastern/psych, and were a very original sounding band. Interesting, but not to everybody's taste, so kinda hard to recommend one song, as their style change from on track to another. The Cuckoo might be worth a listen.
