Really enjoyed this one. So many “beginners versions” ( I must have at least five), seem to lack lustre. Like the second part 2-3 hammer ons, helps give the song a bit more interesting feel. I really appreciate how much I’ve learned from your videos. Being a Brit & trying to learn songs that aren’t known to me has been at times, daunting to say the least. Learning at home with pages of tab’s that don’t give a ‘feel’ for the energy of the music is like looking at a wall of common bricks. A huge thank you for helping me along my journey, very much appreciated.
Thx.good vid.i have been playing for 5 weeks.been playing guitar fo r25 years.and wanted to do something different.this is a song my desaesed grandad used to sing.we have been to several bluegrass festivals.
Them cabbage turn into bile after you eat them🤣 I found how you place your pinky next to the bridge interesting. As a 4 week beginner I’m still struggling with where it’s most comfortable. I have even taped my ring finger and pinky together to try to train them to stay together. I’m 60 so it’s gonna take some time. I like your teaching method.
Very cool arrangement Bill. This isn't one of my favorites to try and play but your version sounds very nice! I am going to give it a whirl... Thank you very much for your time, talent and unselfish sharing!!!
boiled cabbage becomes rather sweet like cooked onions, and so it make chitterlings, and other bullshit meat given to them, a rather good soup that they ate nearly 100% of the time with a normal meal once a month or so
