Taylor Swift blow dries her cat Olivia after bathtub incident
An Instagram video showed Taylor Swift blow drying her cat, Olivia, after the cat jumped into the bathtub. Swift's massive closet can be seen in the background of the video.
Her fluffy white cat's fur was soaked after it inadvertently plunged into bathwater.
But Taylor Swift was not keen on letting her feline simply shake it off in the video she shared on Friday.
Instead, the 25-year-old hitmaker set a blow dryer on her pampered pet, however her furry companion became disgruntled under the heat while wrapped in her arms.
The Shake It Off singer retweeted the video on Twitter that was recorded by her friend Abigail Anderson.
It shows the Grammy winner holding her limp Scottish Fold across her shoulder as she passes the blow dryer along its lower body.
Her friend is heard asking what happened to the cat.
'She jumped in the bathtub,' Taylor says.
Looking at her furry friend, she adds: 'You're real embarrassed, aren't you?'
And she follows up by responding for cat: 'Yep.'
Clad in a sweater with the words emblazoned: 'Genius,' the Blank Spaces singer later glides the blow dryer toward the cat's face, which provoked it to turn its face up and grip her neckband.
According to Vetstreet.com, it is recommended to keep the blow dryer's nozzle 'inches away' from fur and in a 'constant motion to prevent heat from concentrating on any one spot and burning your pet.'

Amazed Olivia tolerates the hairdryer, every cat I have ever own will run away at the first sound of a hair dryer.....I would have been scratched badly if I to use a hairdryer on my cat......
