The Vis was built in 1921 in Port Glasgow.
And 79m long and 12.5m wide it was built under the name Rentiera for Brodarsko a.d. "oceanija" for which he worked until the beginning of the 2nd World War. During the war it was seized by the British army and used to transport convoys to Africa.
In 1946 he was brought back to Rijeka carrying aid to Yugoslavia, after which he had to go to Ra[a in Istria to take a cargo of coal. In front of Plomin Luka crashed into a mine and sank.

Il Vis è stato costruito nell 1921 a Port Glasgow.
E lungo 79m e largo 12.5m è stato costruito sotto il nome Rentiera per Brodarsko a.d. "oceanija" per il quale ha lavorato fino all'inizio della 2° Guerra Mondiale. Durante la guerra è stato sequestrato dall'esercito inglese e utilizzato per il trasporto dei convogli verso l'Africa. Nell 1946 fu riportato a Rijeka trasportando aiuti per la Jugoslavia, dopo di che doveva andare a Ra[a in Istria a prendere un cargo di carbone. Difronte a Plomin Luka impattò contro una mina ed e affondato.
