I always danced. As a very young girl, I only wanted to be a dancer and a singer professionally. I sadly have to say goodbye to so many important things in my life, say goodbye to my dreams, say goodbye to man that I loved more than I loved myself...so now I stand still for a moment, brush my hair, wearing my most beautiful dress, put on my lipstick, arrange the flowers and meanwhile contemplate . Thank you, Sylvia...for being here...and witness my dreams. It means so much. I am not a person who wants to live in solitude, but I want to love and give. Melissa 🌹

The dress is a very aggressive red. A dark, dirty red and reminds me of blood. Some of the flowers fallen out of the vase and damaged, blood stains on the wall (in the mirror?) and table cloth... also on the neck. Tragedy... or broken heart but that's just my imagination. I might be wrong. Maybe it isn't blood stains but just a little bit of her dress reflecting in the mirror? My interpretation changes the longer I look at it. Definately an interesting painting but nothing I would hang on my wall. What's your interpretation of the painting?
