You did a *beautiful* job here and you made me brave enough to order Poly Watch (which arrives tomorrow, yay!) in order to try this on my secondhand On. I'll be careful as you instructed someone else here! But I have hope it will help the scratches. I love Novus for acrylic aquariums but found it just did not help with the On. It may be I needed to use it for longer but it made me nervous, I swear it made the On screen look worse. I will update this after trying Poly Watch for my On screen! Thanks again for this video. Edit: The Poly Watch did a very good job on my Fairy On's screen! I found because of the recessed screen I was especially careful not to gunk up the very edges, but it works great to clean those up with a Q-tip. I recommend Novus plastic scratch cleaner and remover on the shell (for deeper scratches) but yes Poly Watch seems great on Tamagotchi screens. Happy refurbishing, Tama friends!
I used polywatch on my Digimon Vital Bracelet with light scratches in it and it works so perfectly! Definitely recommended for cleaning vpet plastic screens.
@@Mariahtchi Thank you so much! By the way, should a I take apart of the tamagotchi to get the screen and clean it or should I just clean it the way like you did?
@@angelic1227 Hmm, I've had a bad experience opening a different plus color recently! It turns out the speaker is glued in to the board and when I tried to open it the speaker broke and now my sound isn't working :( So just be aware of that if you're trying to pull it apart and it doesn't give easily. Doing what I did is fine too, especially since the material dries quickly; I didn't experience it gunking up on the sides.
Hi! I haven't tried it personally to be 100% sure, but it should work! I'd just like to warn you to not to apply too much because unlike the plus color, the On's screen is recessed. Too much moisture might affect the faceplate or go inside!
