Thanks for watching the video "I'm one ultra-cool home-built custom ride!" - Meet Mark and his 1963 Volvo P1800 custom! - Авто та транспорт
Makes total sense that Mark is a tool maker. I can almost see the ghosts of the original engineers around this thing giving it the thumbs up. Understated and clean but you can still see cables, pipes, bolts etc etc and that weight distribution is in transaxle territory. What a build!!!!
That's a big reason why we had to feature this after meeting Mark at Goodguys! Just wait until you see what he's building now! Going to be a very cool Triumph!
I had the privilege of parking next to this car at GoodGuys Home Built Area in Scottsdale. The workmanship and thought process put into this build is outstanding. Nice build!
That's where we met Mark. Thanks for watching and commenting. It really is a very cool ride and so well done!
Fantastic hot rod and what a nice guy you are Mark. We saw you Apr 6th at the copperstate 1000
Very cool! Thanks for watching and so glad you got to meet Mark! We love this car and don't see it often enough. Keep watching!
I've always this body style of Volvo. I learned a few things about it today. This man didn't excellent job keeping it basic body lines. He also made the car smooth and slick. Right down to the 1956 Chevy tail lights lenses that he used.
Absolutely and thanks for watching and leaving such a nice comment!
Thank you for the information, did not know the first ones were English built by Jenson.

Great car, perfect color. The pride of ownership/builder shows. Years back a friend's dad had the same car, but it was a station wagon?
Well said! A station wagon?! So Cool as well. We'll say "thanks" for Mark!
@@IfThisCarCouldTalk Just googled, it was a P-1800ES. The ES stood for Estate Wagon. Have a great day.....
Nicely done!
Thank you! Cheers!
