WOW WOW WOW Well that landscape had a vastness to it that’s so different to the Aussie vastness. So little evidence of humans in your filming of the ride up to the pass. Brooding lonesomeness. Love ❤️ it. Thank you Danny.
Been up that road a good few times, but the drone footage is next level makes you appreciate how untouched and beautiful it is. Great video as always Danny, love your positive attitude.
The only thing I wish, is that the weather was better for you Danny, those roads, the lakes... on brilliant summers days with blue skies and sunshine, makes it even more magical, more beautiful... more special 👍.... please come back one day.. and tour again

I'd say you damaged a wire near that clutch lever when you dropped it. So when wet it's shorting. Testing the voltage at the lever and working away from it more than likely would have shown a drop in voltage.
That left hand control would have been the first place I looked. Seeing the bike fell over and the problem started afterwards. Unless they did they were messing with the right side in the video. What do I know only worked at a dealership for 30 years
@@franklaskus2395 ........possibly, but I suspect the fault is elsewhere...he's getting the full ampage from the coil - usually only sent to the starter till the engine starts, under normal conditions - being shorted to the frame/engine block, and the clutch wire is taking that nicely straight to his hand. Just replacing relays is like replacing fuses without knowing what is causing the fuses to blow. Truly frightening. 12volt wont give you el shock, when he had shocks you can hear bike is running on one cylinder only. in the rain sometimes HT cables give electric breakdown to engine case, grips re rubber and he touch metal clutch lever and gets shock

Got to admire your ability to stay cheerful through the most grueling conditions! Sorry you had such bad luck with the weather. When hes getting the shock, you can hear the bike not firing correctly. I had a bike that would do it in the wet. Rainwater would pool at the base of the sparkplugs, and the coil leads would arc and short out to the engine. Would go down to 2 cylinders and shock my legs (against the engine).
At the moment you're doing Wrynose and Hardknott following the best direction. From memory the worst and most severe switchbacks will be as you drop down off Hardknott pass. Heading downhill is OK. Loving the uk series but pinching myself each time you have to bump start when you could simply bypass the starter relay circuitry by bridging the solenoid terminals with a screwdriver or similar and be on your way. Speaking from experience of HD bikes I am really surprised the dealer could not sort your bike. So you where getting a shock from your clutch lever. The handle bars where live. So how does power get to the bars? On/off switch, starter circuit, lights, indicators, horn. The fact you had starter trouble points to the obvious route. On my bike the starter would engage for no reason in wet weather and sometimes cut out. The right handlebar switch gear must be California only. WD 40 short term fix.(20sec spray) Strip down and insulate switch components long term fix.(15 mins)
Awesome vid Mr Bogan, our green and pleasant land has amazing scenery, just very surprised that HD couldn't find the fault on that bike, you'd hope they would be the experts on a sportster chopper in my opinion as a Sportster owner 🤨
