I have used one of these since 2016 & i rinse in my big sink & a bucket , then i either let drip over the bath on my 5 line or i have wringers & a salad type spinner , i love not using electric especially now as times are going to be really hard for money .
Looks good for use on my soon to be live aboard sailing boat. I just ordered a little used one from a US seller on Ebay for delivery to here in the UK. They are hard to find here.
According to the manufacturer, it should be 5 lbs. of clothes per wash load. I had ordered one a couple years ago and after the first load I had a clunking sound and i could feel it in the handle but could not see anything. I did return it to Laundry Alternative with no problems. I do recommend the Ninja Spin Dryer through this company. Its been 2 yrs. and is still going strong.

Get soft water. It is what cleans not the chemicals. What’s in the bottle is chemical softeners. First ingredient is “anion and non anionic softeners “. It’s the water that cleans. The soap only help the water clean.
I'd be careful about that. While the tub is pretty sturdy, the triangular frame is not reinforced. It twists. I'd be afraid the frame might buckle from small force applied. If it had a waffle grid matrix inside, i'd be more confident, but the way it has rocks when spinning a load that got lopsided, made me treat it a bit more gently. I have not been able to source any a la carte replacement parts for this system from the company or elsewhere and that makes me very nervous.
@@YMB203 I’m sorry but u don’t no what ur talking about.with the lid on the unit vacuum seals is self more less.the only way to get the water to come out is to insert the drain and open the lid.what ur talking about would just continue to wash or rinse the clothes.the laundry alternatives does that on purpose so that if you buy the wonder washer you’ll come back and buy their spin dryer. They are more or less a set.weather ur trying to go green, afraid of the coronavirus or you simply can’t afford to buy a traditional washer dryer set. @@ae5116, Once the unit has been drained after wash, centrifugal force would work by cranking handle a bit faster. Repeated draining would probably be necessary. Of course it wouldn’t be as perfect as a spinning machine but I suspect it could be good enough. I don’t own the machine and currently use buckets. Am currently leaning more towards the electric collapsable washer/spinner sold on amazon.
I used to use this machine in the bathtub but I just don't have the strength to wring out the clothing nor the space to hang it and let it drip out that much water. If I had a spinner dryer thing I would but I just use my regular washing machine in the bad weather.
25 dollars was a steal. Great find!
i thought so as well.. i was thrilled to get it... now im trying to find one of those spinner dryer things not electric
I’ve been thinking about getting one of these.. thanks for your video

you will not regret it, they are awesome little machines.. mine is still holding up
I would make the first cycle longer. But just sitting for longer before turning handle. At least 1 hour. Chemical reaction with soap and dirt
I just order one of these and I absolutely love it. This little machine will actually clean your clothes great
i agree it is pretty amazing for something so small :)

If anyone is interested in off grid and being more self sufficient I created a 2nd channel for all that stuff. It is called Zero Waste Homestead.
U never showed the inside.. does it spin or agitate when you spin it? Or is it basically a bucket you spin?
its just a bucket, i have a better video on my other channel zero waste homestead

Seems that once drained, you can spin the clothes in the unit.
That is something I will have to try
No u can’t the drain hose prevents u from doing that. With the drain hose in u will only be able to rock it back and forth
@@ae5116, remove drain hose, spin, drain, repeat.
