There’s a lot to think about when buying a hat. Probably a good idea to go try some on and find the color, crown height and brim size. Get that done then order. 👍☮️🌞🎸🎵💙
You can use process of elimination.. Western or Fedora? Dark or light? Short,classic or oversized brim size? be methodical and take it a step at a time..

I am a tall guy (191cm / 83 kg), a 2 1/2 " brim fits me perfect I would say. 😊 My 2 Akubra's "Leisure Time" have a wider brim but still OK. Under 2 1/2" ... not possible to wear for me! But everybody has to find his/her hat-"style"a 🤘
I'm 6'3" and 170lbs My daily hat is a brown stetson Carson. My Sunday go to meeting hat is a Stetson Premier Stratoliner in Caribou. I have a Premier Galaxy in Olive and Sudan coming soon. One of these days I want a Stetson Tom Mix in Silverbelly.
Hey Kevin. A question no doubt many hat wearers would like to know. Can you let us know if it is possible to alter a traditional curved brim on a fedora to a more contemporary flat brim style?
Kevin, I been so busy that I was not aware you started your own hat company, congratulations. You service a couple of my fedoras when you worked at JJ Hats. I bought a Stetson Open Road, but it is too tight. You mentioned in the past on one of your videos that the inside wire (cord) can be snip to have a looser fit. How much you charge if I send the hat to you, and you do it, I don't feel comfortable doing it myself, I don't have the knowledge. I used to live in Seattle, WA, now I live in South Carolina. What Size Brim has your 5" to 5 1/2" inch Crown ? As l am a fan of an Open Crown, but I haven't figured out what the brim is,...as l have a preference towards a 2" inch exterior grosgrain ribbon
The nostalgia premier, galaxie premier and Starlite are 5.5” open crowns. The Skypiece & New Yorker are 5” center creases.. Skypiece has a 2.5” contrasting bound edge and the New Yorker has brim binding that matches the felt color. I have been posting a lot of the hats I picked up this year, about 15 hats now.. Many are 2"5 one a 2"25 but a few 3" to 3.5 which I really like.
I used to LOVE the 3” when I had long hair, now I feel better in 2 1/2”
