Having hit the Buddh circuit, you could do a detailed review of cornering and handling. You didn't talk about it.
Took a test drive yesterday of 1.3 turbo automatic top model.
Now confused about buying automatic and manual since there was an initial lag before turbo kicks in. Driving pleasure was good, suspension was super good, overall liked it but not that peppy for an enthusiast.
Steering modes were fabulous, really felt the change in steering weight in 3 modes.
Waiting to see how is 1.5 manual

Turbo lag is evident in turbo variants .city riding will be laggy .it is evident in taigun also .
Is it better to go for Astor than creta .it looks smaller from outside when standing side by side to seltos and creta but it's dimensions are bigger than creta and seltos and interiors are top notch in quality .I was thinking of going for Astor 1.5 manual

If you are ok with that 2.6 lakhs. Hector is double worth it. It's like selecting between 2 houses, one is big house with above average luxury and second house which is smaller but top most in luxury.
Bro there are a lot of differences Hector would just become a segment above and offer more space but tbh if mileage concerns you don't even look at that car ngl...and you even get adas which Hector dosent offer at this time..so it's quite controversial of what you want in your vehicle and what you can compromise

I need to tell/convey every potential buyer about the car and offerings by the car. If in a review, telling about features is justified, I need to tell the engine options as well.

It’s fair to say that diesel buyers may not be happy with this aspect but u can cannot say that is a con of the car!
And when did ventilated seats bcom a negative ??? It’s a fringe benefit of a high end car! I mean that ways one cud go on with the negatives of CRETA and say :
Cons in buying CRETA -
1. No adaptive cruise control
2. No steering mode
3. No mobile car unlock or engine start

What's the difference between adas and the advanced features of Seltos,m
ADAS means Advanvanced Driver assistance system. It is a type of autonomous car driving. It has 5 levels. The fifth level is fully autonomous means the car can stear, brake etc...on its own.

I see them as distractions and obstructions .
They are gimmicks. But then again, see it this way: If Creta and Astor are similarly priced, you're getting extra features for absolutely no extra price. So it's value for money. And you can switch off the features if needed. Always good to have extra features at no extra cost!

That diesel engine is not Manufactured by MG, infact, Jeep compass, Tata Harrier and MG hector shares the same multijet 2.0 litre Fiat engine, with different tuning. The only companies which manufacturers an in-house diesel engine are Kia motors(hyundai also), Tata motors the engine used in Nexon and Altros, Mahindra diesel engines(All) and the engines by Fiat, Renault, Volkswagen, Skoda and Ford. Rest all other remaining brands borrows their diesel engines from here and there

Not yet confirmed but it is more than 190-195mm at least.

While the car has AI and modern features and boasts of best in class infotainment , it's unable to fix basic USB feature like folder scan. Even in Hector it has the same issue. Songs stored in multiple folders in USB stick cannot be played based on your choice as there is no folder scan option. All songs gets mixed up and it plays in a system driven random order!
It's a basic USB feature available on all mp3 players and entry level cars. It's unfortunate that a hifi car like this is unable to provide basic features while it boasts of AI.
Repeated complaints to MG has not helped
