Wyatt was credited for taking part in the composing team for almost the entire album, including this song. The orchestral part is a sample, though. Still a very beautiful song, with also beautiful MV, choreo, sets and outfits. It's a 10/10 for me. My favorite song so far this year.
I think it is marvelous. The arrangement is very smart. The strings and the vocals are so lovely. Looking back over ONF's work, I should only expect to be treated to something unexpected. They quietly go against the grain and present something wildly refreshing time and again. For me, it is not just that their songs stand out in kpop, they stand out amongst each other. It's hard to compare songs like Why, The Realist, Beautiful Beautiful, and Bye My Monster because they are very different, extraordinary ONF songs. We need this creativity and heart. I hope we will be hearing from them a good while longer.

Producer team Monotree, including ONF's main producer, Hwang Hyun, used to be apart of Sweetune, who worked with Infinite a lot, so that might be why it feels like them.
I don't know why and I'm not an expert but this song musically feels simultaneously like a boy group does both a (more typical) girl group and boy group sound in one song at the same time while also being the intro to an anime. Oh and I also get the earlier BtoB vibe.
