It would have been fitting of TFC/MLS to name insigne captain just to pander to him. I am glad they picked the only real option. Now i hope Oso can speak up to these italian DP's and call them out on their bs when it happens.
This is the most natural pick for captain but I think it comes 3 or 4 years too late in terms of his level of play and where he’s at in his career. Yes I know Bradley was the captain and deservedly so but in terms of Oso right now, I’m not sure how he’s going to command respect if he’s frequently making mistakes, at least from what I’ve noticed from him in recent years after his concussion issues

Unfortunately, due to the product on the pitch and the lack of local media coverage in recent years, the answer is probably no.
Mediocre player, bland personality, meh + meh + meh = meh
maybe to both, but he bleeds for the club and that is what you require for your captain. It's not a "best player" or "best personality" award.
