I think that the Monteverdi Hai 650F1 inspired Christian von Koenigsegg... because the later first prototype of the first production car look almost like the Monteverdi..
You’re one of the best channels on YT when it comes to fun information on some of my favorite cars. I just have one question- what nationality are you? I like to think I’m fairly good at identifying accents. But you kinda leave me guessing.
Looks similar to dome caspita jitto that also had a formula engine judd v10 my favriot wish it was in gran turismo sport and I hope cizeta v16 t comes back last year ferrari f50 arrived in gt sport even that car has formula one engine
Yeah Jitto is another good example, there is of course the E60 M5 but the engine didn't came straight out of a F1 car. Under my knowledge F50 is the only and the One of Mercedes which is taking forever.
@@AlfaGuy2 the museum has been closed "with discretion" with part of the collection going to the 'national' museum of transport in Lucerne Switzerland, where the display method is say 'not optimal', and part sold "with discretion" to some buyers who have the talent to be at the right place at the right time, god knows how they manage do do that. Both solutions not serving the interest of the brand / history of the brand ..., IMO, which I find surprising and very sad.
@@AlfaGuy2 I know it's hard coded, I took me a while to pronounce some words but this one easy man, you got all the rest right. Just try to say Kilometers in your head a few times and it will come naturally soon.
Huge respect to the Cosworth DF series engines for lasting in F1 for such a long period.
I see many styling cues that made their way to the F50
Yeah the side, especially the air intake look a lot like F50

The Huayra is uncannily similar to the profile, especially those rear quarters.
If more than 2 examples were produced, the rest would probably be rotting in Brunei.

Albania
It looks like jaguar stole the design for the xj220 and stuck a longer wheelbase on it!

Do you know if they are still existing ?
The company no. But they a great museum I think near Basel with all their cars including here the 2 650 prototypes, and also some other cars.

One car is in the museum, the other one was sold privately.
550kg - impossible.
I know is just impossible, only if they meant the body without the engine. For some reason I believe that the car wasn't functional.
@@AlfaGuy2 Possibly it was not functional, bc i have never seen it rolling.

Man, I love your channel (1st one as well) but can you stop saying KILOMITS - why do you do that?
I just can't pronauncit in English, since all my life I have pronauncit in Albanian. I know is annoying.
