Thanks! This location is so interesting and I loved seeing it. Thank you, EE and BBG for all your hard work. Love the history lesson you bring to your audience. Take care and stay safe out there my friends.
Wow , EE will be over the moon now as his " Touching History Tour " is getting more and more real with the great support from people like you Allen. THANK YOU so very much for that kindness and we appreciate that a lot. We send our greetings to you and take care.
This site just keeps giving, so many intact bunkers, without the mindless graffitti all over them. Thank you for sharing this with us all, and for all the hard work and research that you all do for us. Stay safe and well my friends
Glad you enjoyed it my friend , we certainly did and so much to learn from this place. There is more to come and we thank you for your very kind support :)
Well thank you for getting the info and places to go for years History Hunter and watching Bunker Buster and Eagle Eyes grow up over the years ! Love your vlogs😎👍🏻🦅🇺🇸🙏🏻😇🇩🇪
What an amazing explore of this fascinating position, HH and EE! The guns are so awesome to see! You and Eagle Eyes make history come alive for all of us!❤
Great ending part to the series. As always great information. The 37mm cannon was for sure shipboard, some ship's captain was upset to find a gun missing. This series you have out done yourself HH. EE, glad you had a great trip. Awaiting the next series. Be safe and well out there. Update: looks like that unit came off a U-boat, or Schnell Boat. Larger ships ran twin guns and larger crews. This unit was replaced by Bofors 40mm.
Thanks for sharing/taking us to this site. All 4 videos were absolutely outstanding!!! Loved seeing that original fence "post" with the jagged top. I would think that is rare to see now a days. The view from some of those bunkers are awesome!!! Thanks again for taking us along. Waiting in "awe" for our next adventure. Stay well, safe and smile!! Until then my friends,..............................
We your fans thank you for bringing us such fascinating videos, very much appreciated, well done, looking forward to your next adventure, eagle eyes is a credit to you.
Thank you HH and EE for sharing this amazing series of videos with us. This area, with its massive expanse of bunkers and gun positions, has been a truly fascinating look into how ridiculously huge and complex, Hitler's Atlantic Wall was. And the fact that the caretakers of this site, have maintained it the way they have, makes it so much easier to imagine what it was like when the Germans were there. Truly an incredible look back into History. Thank you both for all your efforts, and time, to bring such amazing places to us. Looking forward to hearing the story behind the officers dress dagger! Cheers to you all!
Agree my friend. it is so important to have places like this to see and learn from. We loved to find it ands hare it with you :) Greeting from us and be safe out there.
What an amazing place, and in such good order too. Good to see young EE enjoying his explores as usual and also amassing a huge amount of knowledge at the same time. Thank you as ever for taking us with you and sharing this special place.
When life hasn’t been going so well it’s so wonderful to see these videos that take my mind off so many things and allow me to relax and enjoy something I love. The locations are very special and wonderful to see. You have shown so many different locations and adventures that I would never see anywhere else. They way you present these videos and explain them is very educational, even for an old man like me. The energy that Eagle Eyes shows lifts my spirits greatly. So thankful for you and your family doing these adventures and sharing them with us.
You know what Anthony , we are honored to hear that and even i get very inspired knowing that you are with us out there in spirit and by your great support. We thank you for being here and we wish you the very best and remember ; NEVER SURRENDER no matter what comes at you in life. Thank you Anthony and we send a greeting from us.
It must be difficult to keep up with EE at times, but you do a good job there HH. You can't help but get caught up with his excitement and williness to learn more history. He is like a WW2 History sponge. That was indeeed quite the place. Thank you sp much for taking us there so we can experience another part of WW2 history with you.❤
The location was also used in the years following as a part of an elaborate defence network against the Soviets leaving the Baltic Sea. A very interesting place, and definitely one I need to visit some day.
I seem to recall that the position was to guard the port/harbour you can see on the periphery of some of your seascape shots. The reason that it is in such good condition was that the National Army of the country used some of the old German WW2 positions and coastal artillery as their Cold War contribution to guarding the coast and sea-lanes. Nice to see that EE was enjoying roaming the facilities.
Great video and adventure you 2. I suspect EE can already become an expert in WWII history and being able to teach it. Be safe, careful and stay or get healthy..😀😁
That was one wicked looking barbed wire post in the forest along with the piles of wire! It is interesting as to how much of that material is piled up and laying around at different sites. I wonder how many kilometers of the stuff was made during the war!?! That machine gun position was still painted on the inside, I don't think I had seen that before... That regelbau with the powered gear on the wall must have generated a lot of heat in that bunker. Maybe they had some fans to vent it... Thanks for taking us along! Stay safe and stay well!!
yes i do think that sometimes it is strange that items are still laying around , even today. Some of the positions do have strange color patterns or colors. Loved to find this and share it with you my friend and thanks for your incredible support.
Important that walking these sites is not easy. Thorns, vines, mosquitoes help to make us sweat a little in our imaginations. Thanks for sharing the history with the sites.
Once again a spectacular adventure! No we would never have been able to experience this if it weren't for you and EE. Those guns were awesome! I do know the Germans wouldn't have painted the bunker those hideous colors. The barbed wire poles were nice to see as well. That's a lot of barbed wire that's left over. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
Thanks! EE It took me a while to stop laughing after you said you would kick your dad 😅😅. You are the coolest young man ever. Thank you both for sharing this very interesting fortification and isn't it fantastic that the flak gun is still there.
He he , well EE says thank you here in the early morning our and he is such a great explorer out there. Thank YOU for your great support my friend and we send a greeting your way :)
Another fascinating enormous AW position with an actual (deactivated) German WW2 20mm AA gun still in place. Thanks very much for the comments on the men who might have served here. Soldiers are soldiers wherever they serve. They all follow orders. Such a pity they sometimes serve evil generals.
That place WAS spectacular! EE always gets through to his destination even if the door won't open. 😅 You are not fat & old HH. Stop that right now. That was a neat N77 bunker. Would be interested in knowing the story behind the incomplete M270. Be careful around the barbed wire. Too bad some of the equipment wasn't still there in the flak crew bunker. Anti-aircraft gun was something. Just imagine the young German soldiers manning those guns and the pride they felt when they exceeded the expectations. Yes, we should always remember that the soldiers were and are human beings fighting for what they genuinely believe in. Will be interesting to see the RAF site. Always want to know more about BBG discovery. Thanks, EE & HH ❤
Another great video, thank you. The more obvious, well visited bunkers like the ones here, why not say where they are? That way people going there could go and take a look for themselves.
Counting the bunk hangers that room is for 36 Heer soldatten. That was a VERY big investment with this artillery site! 5:52 I dont recognise this type of gun emplacement I would like to know more about it and what the small bboxes are on each side with the shutters? Not sure but they look like shell elevators one side for AP and one for high explosive? So they wind one up from below then the loaders takke it from the shutter - load BOOM! Anyone have any ideas about this its unusual! 12:24 owing to the sheer number of cables I believe this may have been a plotting and targetting room. Also the silhouettes on the wall, I recognise shapes from one of your earlier videos of a gun plotting room that has been preserved in original condition. The whole gun and everything WORKS! The fact that that yellow paint has NOTHING underneath it except the concrete indicates it is ORIGINAL in that room. The green in the other room is modern though. THAT is so so interesting I would love to know more what that was. The number of troops here indicates an large position with multiple guns. The may have been officers here who received sighting reports from a rangefinder or radar location above ground. Calling in TARGET BEARING 270 degrees - range 12000 wind speed 12 m/s. They dial this into a large brass machine and it provides a firing solution . You would know of this from your days in the U boats. The gun captain choses which guns can fire that direction and calls in the firing order and shell type. In goes the shell all the time other guns firing around them - fingers in ears and BOOOOOOMMM whooosh and the shell HOWLS out to sea.......... 12:58 OH OHHHH HOLD ON did you turn your flashlights off in this green room I think this is all fluorescent paint!
There are some very special features around there yes and i love this place. Lots of original paint and features. We shall return to see more her later so we might check that paint in there. Thanks my friend :)
Thanks! This location is so interesting and I loved seeing it. Thank you, EE and BBG for all your hard work. Love the history lesson you bring to your audience. Take care and stay safe out there my friends.
