I love how you aren't embarrassed to show your sample creation haha. Us Brits are immune to this level of cringe :) Also, I can't do this because sadly I do not have a shumputer :(
Nice one! But I’ll make a sugestion, When you had the computer screen on the vídeo broadcasting from serato was easier to us to see whats going on. With this cdj-3000 with built in screens its harder, and also not much as a begginer thing considering most of the begginers wont start with one of these
Phil gets a set of CDJs and starts using his evil voice!!!! Very good tutorial on making your own drops. There’s also few different ways to do with your phone as well. It’s always good to be creative with your own drops to have fun while keeping your crowd entertained. I’m interested in seeing more Phil Harris having fun on his new decks open format.
Man I got a DDJ-400 3 days ago and I’ve been on it none stop! But I’m really struggling with just mixing simple songs!!? 😂 I’ve got the beat matching down I’m pretty sure but I just wondering if u had a tips 🙏
Practice timing and count through transition and move one channel up a notch and other down a notch every 16 beats thats a good start to do some clean tight mixing. or even have channel open and practice pressing cue button in time. so when you get good you can bring a track in straight away in time. example alison limerick where loves lives thats a good one because you have to bring that in perfect from the start with channel open.
i've watched lot of set of david guetta and bob sinclar, you know united at home and all that stuff, and that's incredible how their mixing technique are simple and naturals. they never overuses sounds effects, because they believe in their natural talent, they're not in the outdo everyone else competition. and i think when you performing art. acting, voice over djing, or any thing, you have to believe in your natural talent and don't exagerate emotions. like twitch streamer without any art school are faking rage and screaming everytime, because they think it's what audiences wants. and that david guetta show on top of dubai building is just oh my god. he is on top of the world litteraly. too bad its playlist only features himself. i hate djs that only feature themselves. i hate djs in general. just kidding.
The branding of the set is the most annoying thing you can possibly do in my opinion. Or the protection of new tracks with these stupid loops. I slightly throw up in my mouth when I here "welcome to gorgon city" or "James hype bitch"
