The runs known as gamakas which they do is beyond your imagination. This is targeted more towards the general audience. It will be a whole new level of experience.

it's probably the opposite, Indian singers use more mixed voice than chest voice, to make the higher notes prettier.
You have to remember that Indian music is not based on Western scales. They are raaga based. They are more like the melodic scale.
