Your tattoos are beautiful, and i think you raise really good points. I grew up as a white person, with two white parents in a white place (UK), so i can't say that i relate 100% with you. But definitely parts of it are the same, i feel like our parents generation are more hesitant in general, and theres places we could go where our tattoos will not be appreciated (hot springs in japan for example). But as you said in an individualist society our parents dont own us, and society doesnt own us. We own us and our bodies. That is to say, great video and i hope you dont feel alone working through these complicated feelings
